HEY GUYS!!!!!!
ITS WSG WEEKEND!!!!
So I am starting up a weekend event as we have been having a blast with Serenity. And as I have been getting tells asking during the week to get premades going so its going to be a new weekend event. Now just cause you sign up for Friday don't mean you have to show up on Friday. This event will go on all weekend and you can jump in and out as you need. This is just to see who is interested. As I am at work I can't see what BG weekend it is, but I do know that all who were with us on Saturday know that we got plenty of games in on AV. If too many people want to join we can always split groups and maximize face smashing.
This is highly recomended for those of you who think you are bad at PVP or don't have fun doing it, trust me we make it fun. So come have fun with Face Smash!!!!!!!!!

Flag Group:
Carrier: Feral Dr00d, Resto Dr00d, Chicken, Shaman pretty much in that order. The Shamans really will want to have imp GW
1-2 Healers depending on carrier: Ideally someone who can keep up. A great tandem is Feral Carrier with Resto Shaman and either a chicken or tree together since they can all stay at about the same pace.
Base Defense (Optional, More useful when encountering other premades):
No more than 2 people, rogues/hunters/ferals/chickens are great. If its a hunter, you get bonus points for being a NE with a cat. Your job is merely to slow them and annouce the direction to your midfield team, ESPECIALLY if they are coming en masse.
Midfield:
This is where all your "stars" hang out. Usually give them 1-2 healers, Holy Paladins do amazing as do disc priests, pvp specced resto shamans and d00dads not as much. This group also wants a lot of slowing effects and CCs to break up mass zergs. Good combos include set ups with Mages, Warriors, Retardins (LOL JUSTICE FOOLS), DKs etc etc.
Ideal Team Lineup:
Feral Druid/Resto Shaman Carriers
Mut Rogue/Surv Hunter Base Defense
Disc Priest/Holy Paladin/DPS Warrior/Mage/DK/Ret Paladin (Extra Bops)/Y Dps class
Special Note: Any of the actual tank classes can carry too, holy paladins and disc priests make for awesome healers with Prot Paladins, Prot Warriors and DKs, once again due to going at about the same pace.
Except in the case of going against another premade, you are usually pretty good having your "base defense" hanging out at midfield with the rest and just finding their carrier on tracking or using the in game map.
Also ideally, leave the Beserking huts to your highest hitting burst people and leave the rejuv huts for your carriers/healers.
ALL of your midfield team SHOULD gang up on the opposing flag carrier once the flag is picked up as they are a LOT easier to stop in Midfield then going into their base for it.
With enough dps you can also usually ignore their healers and just blow up their carrier.
I'll try to be on some every day to lead up a few of these.

WSG Weekend
Dragon — Wed, 04/08/2009 - 09:08If you are going for Battlemaster, this is one of the 2 biggest thorns that stand in your way due to having to farm rep. If you can get into good premades though this rep grind goes a LOT easier.
I might be game this weekend to run a few, however most of my time from here on out will be spent trying to level the warrior before 3.1 hits.
