(DISCLAIMER - I'm not singling anyone out, nor am I saying anyone's behaving in the manner that I am about to detail.  This post comes from over four years of being involved in raid organization and three years of mixed raid leadership, as well as a generally pessimistic view of the human condition)

People who bail because "the current content is boring" are the same people that bail because "the guild has changed" or "I'm not having fun anymore."

It's easy to quit when the going is tough, or worse yet - when there's nowhere really to go.  It's even easier to do so after you've gotten all the loot you want.  It's also quite easy to expect that your raid spot will be opened right up for you when the next big thing comes out.

It's far, far more difficult to be the raid leader/organizer and watch a significant portion of your raid burn out, or - as the case may be in some cases - wimp out because "it's boring."

All I'm saying is, people need to be evaluating the reason behind why they are choosing to take a vacation or not.  If the reason is because you're not having fun raiding, do you think Ulduar will fix that?

If the reason is because you have the gear you want, Ulduar won't fix that either - because then you'll get a different set of gear, then opt out once you've had your fill.  Gear is temporary, there will ALWAYS be something better.  Always.

But if the reason is legitimate burn out, that you're not having fun - I (and the guild) can respect that.
