I'd be game for pushing
Keisjaa — Tue, 04/21/2009 - 15:35I'd be game for pushing through as much as we can tonight towards keepers doing Flame Leviathan > Deconstructor > Council > Kologarn & hopefully Auriaya & then come back tomorrow & do Razorscale (cause it's not much time and a good way to get the mojo going)then plow into keepers & stuff.
Monday we can start(or finish) with Ignis & move on from where we left off.
Just a thought(going more for progression than server firsts at this point) with 4 days of actual raiding this week i think we can make some really good progress if we spread out the extra bosses a bit(not too much extra spent in one night)

moriella — Tue, 04/21/2009 - 07:19Great job taking out the bosses we did last night guys!!! This week there are a clump of guilds poised to head into the watcher section of uluduar. If we want to get server first kills on these guys, I'd like to suggest skipping the optional bosses and jump deep into the next section immediatly. We can skip ignus,razor,iron council at least and pick them back up on Monday night. This is what some other guilds will be doing and I dont think the small amount of loot from them will make a difference if we kill them first. We can still get their loot - just later in the week.
We are even in the unique position with two full 25s running tonight that one guild could go for thorim, while another raid starts with freya for example - thus allowing us to double our chances of getting these progression kills - no other guild on this server has this ability and I think we should use it

And there's no way both raids can go for the Keepers tonight anyways.
Ignis is probably the only major timesink. Assuming no wipes on anything else. If we do skip, guess we can go back at end of nights maybe. Like 30 mins left and we got Mimiron trash to do. lol
Also kinda want to do Iron Council before Keepers for the Data Disc to access Algalon. But then, I guess we're not doing hard mode on anything yet. (though can always secretly hope we accidentally do it on Hodir/Thorim lol)

It looks like Mimiron has been nerfed in P4 (3 hours of my life I'll never get back :-P). That said we could have the keepers down by wednesday if we are able to push through to him.
"The Mimiron encounter has received the following changes: the damage of Proximity Mines has been decreased, Proximity Mines should no longer explode and damage players after they explode and disappear, the initial cooldown of Shock Blast in phase 4 has been altered so it shouldn't be cast the same time as Laser Barrage in this phase, the casting time of Self Repair has been increased, and the health and damage of Assault Bots has been decreased in heroic mode."
But if ppl want to snag some gear off the Razorscale/Ignis...cool w/ me.

But I still want to do the optionals sometime as I am sure for others like me they do drop best in slot items.
