Not only am I impressed with your output, I'm happy that you were willing to fill in when we needed some help. I hope you'll be able to run with us again in the future -- I can't wait to see what you can do over a full raid!

Please kep in mind no matter what you are doing, if you are grouping with a group of Downies act like we are high brow people. I'll trade a 3.5k DPS with a great attitude that can pay attention for a 4.2k one ..

Onrique — Sun, 05/31/2009 - 22:21I think that the point behind turth's comment was that, while you are an app, your: skills, attitude, personality and situational awareness are all on display when you are in a group with members... whatever the setting may be.
Some of us have had the opportunity to run with you in a serious raid enviornment, and others have not. Good numbers on raid parses tell us half the story as to what kind of player you might be. Something as harmless as popping an ankh to save a run-back is easily seen as lazyness, especially for something that's on a 1 hour CD.

Looking at your numbers on a boss-by-boss basis, I like what I see. Was bummed you couldn't stick it out with us for the full raid, but it sounds like it was a one-time emergency that pulled you out so I won't hold that against you unless it becomes a consistent issue.
Looking forward to raiding more with you and seeing what you bring on a weekly basis. I'm big on looking for week-over-week improvements, not just in the numbers but in the intangibles. Your rapport in the raid, optimizing your gems/enchants/spell rotation, etc. You're off to a great start and I'm excited to see what's up next.

He demonstrated excellent class knowledge with a high level of playing ability, as well as the ability to make me work hard to attempt to stay ahead of him with dps.
Overall an excellent raider that would be a valuable asset to any guild.

Keep showing up for saturday raids when you can and I am sure you will be getting a ginvite soon. It took me months to get an invite but I got it solely by showing up to torvos sat kara raids so it is possible! Be persistent.

Vulk — Sun, 05/10/2009 - 10:31Every member in a raid, no mater what their role is should have some form of raid fraims still running. There is countless reasons to have it up and almost zero reasons not to (I cant think of any). It will tell you so much more; it helps your awareness of what is happening at any moment in time to other members in your raid All the people in downfall, including myself, use grid (or some form of raid frames), all the time.

If you're looking for a weekend raid
Torvo — Thu, 04/30/2009 - 22:34I'd like to have you sign up for the EP1 (aka !!1) 25 mans on Saturdays from Noon-5. We're only doing Naxx25 right now which is probably old content for you, but it's important to gear up some of our core people and get us ready for Ulduar 25 by the end of the month.
Since it sounds like a weekend DF raid would be ideal for you, this would be a great opportunity to get in at the ground level of our newest 25 man (especially with our other 2 25 mans raiding on weeknights). We kick ass and have fun... Looking forward to getting to know you!
