General Questions

Which days are you available for organized guild events? (Raids, RBGs, etc):

Monday

Upload UI:

Which addons do you consider essential and why?:

Very important. Mods are great due to the fact that they increase your ability to get the job and your survivability! There is nothing worse than a person who gets tunnel vision while dps and is oblivious to everything around them and BM next thing you know there are dead because of a shadow fissure or a void zone.  That and its nice to know when a boss is about to cast a raid wiping AOE that you have to run out of. I am certainly in agreement with the use of Addons.

PvE

Raid Experience:

I have done every instance in the game. I ran the vanilla wow raids and instances on my priest  back in the day. I would still be playing her but i gave her to a friend who eventually quit. Military came first at the time. I played as a tank through out the majority of Burning Crusade on Sofija of course. The only instance Odyssey did not clear was Sunwell. We got Felmist down and then we began to have issues internally from there on out.  As for my roles in both parts, i was a healer in vanilla wow, and in burning crusade i played the roles of main tank and off tank many of times.

Personal

What timezone are you in?:

South Carolina.

Tell us a little about yourself.:

My real name is Timmy, im 25 years old, i dont have a bed time lol. And yes Timmy is my real name, which ive come to realize was probably a mistake, my mother named me after that stupid kid on lassie.... ugh. Im extremely laid back and very cheerful for the most part. Um, i like traveling. I'm prior military as well, my branch of service was the air force.  You know i could go into a long speel about going to college and going to war, but its stupid reading it when you guys could just take the time to get to know me in game.

Closing app, he's been Ginvited. Updated website access. (you should see new stuffz Sof)

This guy has been app'd for

garreth — Tue, 09/01/2009 - 11:30

This guy has been app'd for exactly four months as of today. And he's been on damn near every day since. I think that counts. Sofi, catch me in game tonight.

Also, how's your dps set?

my dps set is...funny

Sofija — Tue, 09/01/2009 - 14:02

Hah, my dps set normally does close to 4k dps in a raid, Although i did go fury a day or 2 ago, and i didnt really see much of a difference in my dps as compared to arms.. Im just so rusty with dpsing, ive tanked for so long and im surprised that i never burned out but i guess it was for the best because i turned out not to be a failure lol. But you guys can judge for yourself on my dps gear. its just shit i threw together. forgive me if its lame =D and i will talk to you later tonight Garreth if i see you on =D and to answer the other person no i dont get held up at work that often. Its been months since we had to stay over for lost tools. That was just an FYI because of the type of job i have i figured that would be an important thing to put in my application for the guild.

hey

h4mm32 — Wed, 09/02/2009 - 09:48

i'd like to see your dps set as arms mostly

If the server ever comes up

Dragon — Tue, 09/01/2009 - 16:28

If the server ever comes up I will be able to answer any questions you might have dps warrior wise. Alternatively you could go to webchat.freenode.net type in sofija or some other name and make your channel name Downfall and hang out with all us crazies.

I'm not sure anyone was

Scaron — Tue, 09/01/2009 - 15:20

I'm not sure anyone was concerned with your reliability as much as the reliability of those big shiny things that so tenuously hold us 35,000 feet off the ground every now and then. Next time my plane loses airpressure I hope not to be hit with a falling torque wrench...then again if the plane loses air pressure...being out cold might not be so bad.

lol

Sofija — Tue, 09/01/2009 - 17:22

loss of cabin pressure happens a lot more than you think it does. Its just when it does happen the pilots tend to descent quickly enough to equalize the pressure. But as you said in the event of rapid depressurization, id probably want to be knocked out too, or atleast close to a parachute if possible. You know there is still one thing i dont get, is why do they not put enough parachutes onboard for every possible passenger? They would rather *crash land* in an emergency which almost always results in a grievous loss of life. Doesnt make sense to me, and no one has ever given me a clear answer either lol.

I've run a number of things

Scaron — Tue, 09/01/2009 - 11:23

I've run a number of things (some 10 some 5 man) with Sofija. Always enjoyed him. Fun guy, good tank. Just curious, Sof, how's your dps set?

Please...tell...me...this...d

Kwondre — Tue, 09/01/2009 - 11:15

Please...tell...me...this...doesn't...happen...often.

"I work for Boeing. I work in the backshop rebuilding components and sometimes we have to stay late in the event of an emergency or when some retard looses a tool or a piece of tech data"

Sofjia tanked Northrend

Kwondre — Tue, 09/01/2009 - 11:11

Sofjia tanked Northrend beasts successfully the first night it was out in a 10 man run I was in...yea he ninjaed a ring for me but that's a different matter.

Would be nice if he were to get some more "tryout" invites to 10/25 mans...i think KB is full on tanks lately, but maybe salmon is a diff story?

BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP!!!!!!

Sofija — Mon, 08/31/2009 - 23:00

Ok, so like i got lazy and kinda gave up on the application process, and im sorry for being a douche bag. But even though i didnt keep up on the app i still participated in a few of your guildies runs from time to time! Tanking 10 man TOC and the 5 man Toc, etc etc. But hell i just wanted to say that im still interested in joining the guild and putting the best foot forward and giving you guys a hand in whatever you guys need and of course being a reliable player and guildmate! So ya =D

Aidin — Tue, 09/01/2009 - 08:43

Good to see you working on your app again Sofija. I see you in dfrecruit pretty regularly, so knew you were still "around".

Encourage people you're running with to give some shouts on here!

TIMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMY

Aidin — Wed, 06/17/2009 - 20:03

TIMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMY!!! you're so doomed dude...

I'll admit I'm just now reading your app...but you have the greatest Forsight quote ever...

Foresight — Sat, 05/23/2009 - 02:18

Damn G-money always like a straight up pimp.

I imagine you prolly pulled out your your gold tooth and "got yo bitches" in line.

I must have laughed for 5mins....seriously.....

Sofija — Wed, 06/17/2009 - 23:37

Explain ?!

You kinda have to know

Aidin — Thu, 06/18/2009 - 06:24

You kinda have to know foresight...I can hear his voice in my head when I read the reply to Garreth's post. If you aren't viewing posts in Expanded Threaded (option at the bottom) you may not see who is replying to who.

It's Aidin referencing

cromi — Thu, 06/18/2009 - 02:14

It's Aidin referencing foresight. Doesn't have to explain.

Sofa

Businessman — Tue, 06/09/2009 - 11:56

The name Sofija reminds me of Sofa. Anyways, a solid tanker when I was with Sofa on our Saturday runs.

I totally agree with

bluetouguyss — Tue, 06/09/2009 - 16:14

I totally agree with businessman. Sofi has been nothing but great as our MT on EP!!1's saturdays runs. Granted we miss Sid's whacky comments and great knowledge of ulduar but sofi has done an awesome job of replacing our now Salmon (cough TRAITOR) warrior tank!

I really wish i could roll

Sofija — Tue, 06/09/2009 - 18:10

I really wish i could roll with you guys on a 100% basis! I had a lot of fun, and it was a very relaxed raid. And not only that the people in the group where diligent enough to keep everything moving smoothly even though there was a good bit of chatter in vent. Things might be looking up for me a couple months from now, me and my girlfriend are moving back to florida in september so, my schedule might actually permit me to play again on saturday's. We will see i guess, but ill hang in there til then. Right now its kinda hard to stay available for raids with you guys. I joined up with a friends guild, but i still feel that i want to be in downfall. And they would understand of course. Time will tell i suppose. Thanks for keeping me in the games guys =D much appreciated.
