Two important changes for this week:
1. As we've geared up and become a more consistent group from week to week, the number of pieces that many of us need out of Naxx is slipping to a small pool of the most valuable gear in the instance. While our "main spec first, off spec second" roll system works well when the loot is plentiful and everyone's getting upgrades, it's not a good system for distributing highly sought after loot - nor does it guarantee that best loot will find its way back into our raid the following week.
With that in mind, and what I hope will prevent us from seeing future QQs over loot, beginning this week we're going to be using Downfall's officially sponsored FRP - Furious Raid Points. Details here. Both Salmon and Kitten use this and love it, and now we in EP1 will as well.
2. It's add on week. Install these before the raid - I'll know who doesn't have them if you think you're exempt. You're not. They'll make you a better raider and make me a better raid leader - it's what I call win-win.

- Big Wigs (Several of you like Deadly Boss Mods... Downfall prefers Big Wigs because it's lower overhead - it doesn't use as much of your system resources. Since we have problems week-in-week-out with slow response times on everything from Thaddius' polarity shift and Heigan's dance floor to friggin frogger, I'm asking you all to trust me and use the less-system-intensive Big Wigs this week. We'll see if it makes a difference.)

I was doing fine on thad and changing alright no lag really using that technique heaven gave last week for not dying. and then their was yelling downstairs for me and my mum came up to yell. She needed me to drive my brother to the hospital, he had cut himself deep and bad on his thigh tossing up my nice pocket knife that i use in the woods, like i do, he had nicked it from my room this morning. So i had to drive him to the emergency room, to get stiches. And before i gave hasty first aid to my brothers thigh i hit the power button on my comp because it was the only thing i could think of to not hurt the raid. Kinda wish i could have done frost. Because i would prefer your lectures in raids to my mum about moving faster to my mums. And i would have prefered healing a raider to using hasty bandages on my brother.
Didnt even get to take a shower and shave.

Especially if there is an emergency like that; do what you have to do!! You made the right choice and I sincerely hope your brother is fine.

Makes me glad that i took that cpr and first aid course.This kind stuff happens alot in my family, esp. during family get togethers so it wasnt the worst injury ever sustained.
A nurse also told me i would be handsome if i cleaned up a bit.

Also, I just want to share something else with all of you... The guild is really fucking impressed with what we're doing. Not just those of us who are running in this raid, but the 4 year vets that raid Salmon/Kitten, too. Some of the praise I've received from guildies - up to and including the top brass:
Both of these things are adding a tremendous amount of value to the guild. Each and every one of you should be proud of the fact that you're making this a reality. I'm not taking the credit, because I'm only doing 1/25 of the work every week. This is a group success, and I want to be sure you're all sharing in the achievement.

When I can put one together I will be happy to do one maybe on sunday evenings? I dont really know any other time that would be good. If GRD wasnt right after our run I would just try and get in with them but that makes for a REALLY long day.

I'm going to work on my computer this week and try to figure out what this issue is but my vista is fighting back against me. and though i have found out a way to get wow onto another computer without anything but internet connection,7zip or any other zip program, and drop box. I could go play in an internet cafe.

If you do the Internet Cafe thing just make sure it's one where you can still be on vent... Especially as we start to look at Ulduar, it's going to be important we can all talk to each other.

I'd gladly set one up and raid it ~2/3 of the time when IRL doesn't come calling, but I'd need some support from a few of the other raiders who would be comfortable taking the lead when I can't be there.
There's also been some interest in doing Maly10/25 and Sarth+Drakes, but the same caveat would have to apply there.
I dunno... What do you guys think? Anyone want to volunteer to step up and give leading Sundays a try?
