Raid Experience:

I have done all 5 mans, pre bc, bc and wotlk. All instances that you can run on heroic i have (except for heroic oculus). I've done full clears on all raids except: BWL, AQ 40, BT, Sunwell, EoE and Ulduar. I've tanked, dps'd and healed all of the instances that ive ran.

I have actually been playing as ret since i applied. Easier to do dailys :). I don't know if ret pallys usually use grid but i didn't. Hope thats not to big of a problem :(. Since i applied ive ran ulduar once and it was not even a full run. Mainly been doing dailys and achievement farming.

If you are not using grid as ret how do you go about finding your targets for hand of protection, salvation, help cleansing targets, hand of sac the poor lock that just pulled all of the trash and your hand of protection was down, ect...

Paladins have so much raid utility and having grid just makes it that much easier to actually use it. Especially now that ret dps is.. well less exciting imo, its important to use all of your utility while still putting up decent enough numbers.

I have only been ret since Wraith but hit me up if you have any questions or want some of my mouseover macros that I use along with grid.

Grid takes some time to config/tweak and personalize so spend the time and you'll never go back to any other party/raid frame.

Well like i said i havn't been raiding. The largest groups I've been in are 5 mans so it is easy to see debuffs or keep track of the people who pull off the tank. But yeah, I am sure grid is really helpful to all pally specs in raids.

Ovawith has been running 5man heroics with me and Nickarito for the past few days. Does a great job, moves quickly, doesn't waste time, and knows what he's doing. Good guy to be around as well.

While we may not have a pressing need for holy paladins at the moment, this guy would be a good asset for the guild and I'd love to see him here.

Gonna go ahead and throw in my "official" recommenation for ovawith.

For a long time ive stood behind the belief that someone who is a good pvper, is a better pve'r than someone who doesnt do much pvp. Pvp forces you to explore your class, and have a full understanding of what you can and can't do in certain situations. Pvp damage is less predictable, and requires better reactions and CD management, from a healing standpoint. In PVE, generally you know when heavy tank/raid damage is coming, and you are able to prepare for it. Ovawith has a TON of pvp healing expirience, as well as a great deal of pve healing expirience.

Overall, a very strong player with an excellent understanding of the game, his class and multiple other classes.

I agree with Onrique 100%.

I agree with Onrique 100%. The best healers I've raided with were hardcore PvP'ers. Ova, catch me in game. We've got Kaluu healing with us full time now, but there will always be the need for healer in both raids.

Yah that run went way to late I was MT on my druid alt karesh. From what i remeber of that middle of the night early morning raid he did well i was his healing assignment and never notcide a lack of heals. Sign up for torvos run on saturday get the DF raid addons and show them your stuff.

Thank you for the app! Since you did your time to fill it out, I'll do my best to get you some good feedback. Hi, my name is Garreth and I've been a healer for 4 straight years. I pride myself on my healing skill, strategy and tools. I will hold you to the same standards. I am generally the one in our raids that lays out the healing strategy for a particular pull and I place a lot of importance on using technology to make you a more effective healer. Now some questions/comments:

I see a reroll and two server transfers all before Wrath. I see "flakey" written all over that. Tell me why I'm wrong.
Playing every day is pretty badass. Not required around here, of course, but our raids do need at least four day a week players. It's a bummer that you can't make tuesdays. That's our big "farm push" and you'll wind up missing out on a lof content.
I can't make much of a comment on your gear/spec since you're PvP spec'd and geared atm. Let me know when you go back to PvE so I can get you some feedback.
We'll end up judging wisdom since the ret paladins have a much higher coefficient judgement of light (it scales much better with AP than spell power). How would you glyph for PvE?
Sacred shield = Good. How do you track which target it is on and when it's going to expire? How do you know it's yours?
Get your blacksmithing up, but you already know that. That's just free, easy stats.
Question: When gearing for raid, assuming you get your blacksmithing up to 400+, what would you socket in your bracers and belt?
Talk to me about how you cleanse a 25-man raid. How do you know who has something you can cleanse? How do you cleanse it?

1. I wouldn't call it flakey, the game has been out for a long time now and it has given me time to figure out what i want to play. I've transfered a couple times only because thats what my firends and i decided to do as a group.

2. Yeah i wish i could make tuesdays. Nickarito tells me thats a big day for you guys.

3. I just changed my ret spec to PvE holy, and got some new glyphs. The reason for my old glyphs is that i have not looked at glyphs since i first hit 80, there weren't alot out then, and for some reason i always forget about glyphs. They are still new to me. i also logged out in my PvE gear.

4. whatever works. I'm going to be honest with you Garreth. There are alot of glyphs and specs people like to use. What i try to do is find a pally that i know knows more about pvp or pve (depending on what im looking for) then the average player and basically copy them. So what i did was ask Onrique who would be a good pally to follow from your guild and it turns out that it was you. so i have the same glyphs as you do.

5. i usually sacred shield whoever my main heal target is. i know when it is going to expire because when i have my target clicked i can see the time ticking down and when i put it up i make sure i see which one has its timer reset so i know which is mine.

6-7. I have been working on my blacksmithing and plan to have it up soon. when i do have it high enough for the extra sockets im going to put 16 int gems in them.

8. Well usually when im in a raid i just pull out the raid frames from the raid page. When someone getsd a debuff with those it just pops up on the right side of their name and if i cant cleanse it i think the border on the debuff icon is red. when it is something i can cleanse i just spam cleanse till its gone.

i just downloaded the addon pack for your guild and have been messing around with grid. it seems alot better then the default blizzard frames but im still figuring it out and learning how to use it.

They want to see your UI. A screen shot with your UI hidden defeats the purpose. You may want to consider posting another screenie with all of your raid addons visable. You can tell a lot about how much work someone is going to need by the way they have their game set up.
