He gets my vote for a number of reasons:

We've been short-ish on tanks lately
He's been "affiliated" with Df in some capacity since at least last fall
Can press buttons and not stand in shit (usually)
Knows what the shit an addon is

Nobo, you must understand that getting a main raiding spot in Salmon or Kitten Brigade is highly unlikely. However, it looks like Torvo has more than enough options for you. I'd like to see you a little more "heroic friendly" though ;)

i'm sure you don't mind me making my own raids for achievements, alt's, off spec gear etc, 10-25's included so i have tons of things i can do while i lie in waiting

While I'm all about raiding, we as a guild seem to be perhaps a bit 'over saturated' with raids ATM. We've got 2 main 25 mans and one 'gear up' 25 man running now. All of these raids are having trouble staffing raid each night as candidates are either locked or currently raiding in a 10 man. We have 10 mans going down at the same time as our 25s, further decreasing the available online poeple who can be called in.

I'm not sure at all that we need ANY MORE additional raids for Uld 10,25 or Naxx 25 level content.

Furthermore, and it might just be my lack of info on the matter, but I can't recall any 10man raids that go on during 25man raid nights, apart from Lava Crab (during Salmon, but uses no Salmon raiders), and *I think* Everstar's 10man raid - the name escapes me (during Kitten Brigade, but uses no Kitten Brigade raiders).

A ten person running at the same time as a 25, when the ppl in the 10 are not allready locked to a 25, has a serious impact . If the 10 man ppl were in an alternative 25 and were allready locked to it then it wouldnt matter . hope that makes sense.

I doubt he'll be making any Ulduar 25 raids with existing guildies, as it'd be very difficult to find people geared, serious, and skilled enough to hang out in Uld25 that aren't already doing it. Furthermore, it'd be a lot easier on his shoulders to just get spots in the existing raids.

Now granted that was about 2 months ago but idk i=i've not seen Noboru active around lately to compare 2 months ago to now. So until otherwise proven I vote no.

well i definately do pull sumtimes if the healer is low on mana if i think i can handle the pull based on the dps, and how much damage the mobs do. so i can't deny that. and if people are sarcastic or moody i respond with just retort oftenly which is a bit of a flaw a lot of times, when i should let it go. but meh. if that will make or break my acceptance i completely understand ^_^.

To add onto Cromianiac's post. Ask yourself. If I was trying to get into a guild that is raiding the farthest content and they pulled me in on the FINAL boss, would you be acting like an ass? Really want to test him to get him? Make him run heroics with peeps that he is entirely over geared for. So... all of em? See if h wants to or what not. That's a true test to how someone will fit in.

I know I'm new so i can't be saying much but he didn't complain once through the experience last night. I saw he picked up jousting in his first go on the P2. And he seemed to realize what problems arose during raid and brought them to attention on vent or corrected his mistakes. I don't know about the green clouds, but we didn't have much of an issue to them once we had P1 under control. I am neither voting for him or against I just wanted to bring those to your attention.

it was never so much an invitation to guild as it was to apply and see what we came up with, i was told you had all your tanks and i had a guild who i was helping progress at the time, the guild fell apart when i went away on vacation so here i am and since im leaving some of the friends that were staying just said they wanted to follow me so meh

Get Grid. It's essentially a requirement to be an optimally effective raider.

I recommend OneBag as well. Combines all your backpacks into one bag.

Anyway, I like what I see. Encourage you to sign up for some raids... I'd like to get you into one of the !!1 raids (our final week in Naxx next weekend, then moving until Ulduar) so I can get to know you better, but we usually have our tanks pretty set. How geared are your holy pally/hunter?

At the risk of starting a nerd flamewar, Arkinventory > Onebag. Does the same function, but also allows for searching of items, showing at a quick-glance whats on an alt, and can divide your inventory into several sub-sections (think profession mats, quest items, consumables, etc).

have to go change my pants. That's awesome. And it turns out we probably do have a slot open for a tank in the !!1 raid... Losing someone for the next 3 months due to a summer job. This is our last week in Naxx, then going to Ulduar to kick some ass.

Based on your credentials and who's vouching for you, I'm comfortable saying that slot's yours to lose from a tanking perspective.
