However, in the last few months we've ginvited friends of guildies who don't help out, are rude and then gquit. In other words, these guildy-friends never truly WANTED to join Downfall. They just got a free ginvite and didn't have the motivation to be a part of the community.
How are you any different? And even if you get a free ginvite, what is my assurance that you're going to achieve the high standards that we set for all guildies regarding knowledge of class, raid performance, addons, game mechanics, interpersonal communication and community membership?
I don't need another "friend invite" that never contributes or is a douchebag who then gquits.

I cant stress enough that this 25 man is for up and comers in the guild. We try and get as many apps in each week as we can and then pass the names of people that impress us with their knowledge, gameplay and overall non-assness (prob not a real word but you get the point) to garreth and some of the other officers.
In addition, your dps will be shown in parses and people will be able to point out things to help you get your numbers up or what to work on. It is really an enjoyable and chill raid group!

Kura seemed like a nice person. We had some issues with her schedule in my druid's guild, since she just graduated, it may have opened up some. I'm not saying she shouldn't get a ginvite, she'd probably be a great addition to the downfall community, but I have my doubts about her committment to getting into and contributing to one of our main raids.

I would have to sligthly disagree with you on that one cromi. There wouldn't be 'moving forward in time', it would actually be superaccelerating a pocket of mass (Similar to what you see in a black hole) to be faster than EVERYTHING, which wouldn't actually move you forward in time, but slow your mass down so far that it 'appears' the rest of the universe is speeding by. (This is one theory.)
Another theory actual follows one of the oldest contriversies concerning time that 'Star Gate' actually made a CRAPLOAD of money on. Time is nonexistant. There is no past, there is no present, there is no future. There just IS, therefore, if it is discovered where we were, where we are, and where we will be, than these three points would be easily connected.
As humanity, we don't actually have a strong enough grasp yet of the mechanics behind the 4th dimension to state anything concerning time as 'fact'.

I'm going to throw out shrodingers cat here. If you're not familiar with it it is putting a cat in a box and putting a tube in there with unknown poison or no poison. When the cat is in the box, we do not know if it is dead or alive.
The same thing applies to this and the theorys. All of the "future" is like this. We can speculate the future but things are not as they seem(though by some scientific studies some scientists would say that are eyes are 15 sec in the "future". Which i think is just stupid). Now anything happens in the future i can speculate is going to happen but I do not know. All these theories can be speculated even the time travel at absolute zero.... All that we know is happening in the present because that is the only thing we can access or have created with time.
