Just being everstars friend and haveing nice boobs (so i hear, i missed that pic myself "pout") will not git you in here, We expect our apps to know their class and to have done their research to be the best they can be.
I think you should take some time to find a guild that is still closer to the heroics stage of the game, I dont have the time i used to have to train hunters, those days are over for me. Read elitist jerks, (i can tell you have done some studying as your shot rotation you gave me was pretty close to spot on) learn to PRESS YOUR BUTTONS, not click. comfortable or not you must learn this to improve. Redesign your ui to something more efective than the stock blizzard ui. (i'll upload mine later for you to see) learn to keybind more than just 1 through =.
when you have learned these things come back and reapply. I will gladly evaluate you again when this time comes. I look forward to seeing an improved you in a few mo. Catch me in game or vent if you have any questions, I will answer them as time permits (if you see i am in ulduar that is not the time to ask me questions)

Grasen — Sun, 05/24/2009 - 06:27if you ever want to put out decient numbers you have to retrain yourself, hunter dps is all about hitting your buttons in the right order at the right times, Raiding ois not only about hitting your buttons it is also very much about not standing in stuff, the majority of our shots can be fired while moveing, you cannot shoot and move out of the fire efectivally as a clicker,
I am so famialur with my spells and my buttons that i can dps without ever looking at my spells, if your clicking your constantally looking at your spells, if your looking at your spells all the time the odds of you seeing that red circle that opened benieth your feet are far lower.

We'll start with your gear and gems and enchants, You say you want to raid, Torvo is offering you a trial run, But you are in no way ready to step into a raid. Gemming hit, stam, and ap as surv is not good. change all your red slots to agi gems, also keep in mind just cause the socket is blue doesnt mean you have to put a blue gem in it, Only use enough blue gems to trigger your meta, after that use agi gems in the rest.
I only use 3 types of gems, 16 agi for a red, 8 agi 8 crit for a yellow and then a agi mp5 for my 1 blue.
Now lets look at chants, If you want to step into a downfall raid you better come as prepared as everyone else, YOu need chants on your cloak, helm, shoulders and a scope on your gun, These should have been done before you ever filled out your app.
I must ask about your spec as well. is this your -pve or pvp spec? I can see several points that are misplaced for pve raiding.
last but not least your ui, keybindings for hunters are precious, stock ui is what it is so i always look at the spells the player has chosen to put on their number bars.
steady shot, black arrow and explosive shot do not appear to be keybound, YOu will never put out decient numbers clicking these 3 spells, thay are a huge part of your dps.
I would like for you to tell me what shot rotation you use as well.

Derchlon — Sun, 05/24/2009 - 10:13With Clicking, you are hindering yourself. There is no way you can have the reaction time necessary to perform optimally with clicks, no matter if thats what you're comfortable with or not.
On to your "rotation": Pushing Aimed Shot that far back in your sequence is also hindering your dps. The quicker you get it off CD, the more you can actually shoot. That being said, once you pick up 2 pc Tier 8, you'll find that your current rotation is fine, but until then, use ES>BA>AiS>SrS>SS. Its a marginal increase, but this game is about getting all those small advantages, and combining them into one big one.
Also, CHANGE your META GEM.
