You say instance I think 5 man, which i have done about half of. Mostly tanking, but on other toons i have healed and DPSed. as for raids I have done nax 10, half was main tank, and half off tank.

Well I get to play wow too much because i blew out my knee. ACL and PCL, and am dealing with workmans comp to get things straitened out. I build PCs for fun when I have the money. As well as Draw, play/record music, and try to get my ideas in order for making my own games. i don't mind constructive critisim and discussing differences of opinion. I'm a liberal, I'm relaxed, and i day dream alot when i have nothing better to do.

I agree here. Your threat generation has gotten a ton better. You've proven that you're putting in the work to try and make yourself better with different mobs. Now, one thing I noticed is that you said "No one ever told me about the aoe the boss...." yada yada yada. Please, do yourself a favor and do a little bit of research on bosses and mobs throughout instances/raids. It saves a ton of time for everyone, and makes the fights much more simple and quick. There's plenty of places to do research, try www.tankspot.com if you can't find much else. However, Google does give a wide range of options if you just search a raid/boss.

i dont know if rhyan mentioned it to u but you need to work on moving out of aoe attacks, because during grand widow faerlina u stood in the rain of fire and never moved her, sure for a tank it is nothing big, but you have to remember the dps and if you do move you dont put such a strain on the healers mana pool from haveing to heal you and the dps that have to stand in the aoe just to do dmg.

RAWR damn bold button wont click off anyway..... good news you have improved on threat gen by miles so i didnt have to vanish or roll tricks every 5 sec.

btw do you have flash and shake turned on in the plug ins on big wigs it really helps with knowing when you are in aoe or in any type of bad situation really.

i still don't know fully how to use all the mods from the raid pack so probably no (just checked...didn't have bosses loaded....). But i'll keep that in mind. most bosses i run out of aoe, just that run I was a little excited to run with you peeps. I don't think any one ever told me to move from the aoe on that boss either since usually rhyan is healing and with beacon of light it doesn't hurt his mana as much..

In all honesty though you guys,mainly the pallies, pulled aggro off me, not alot but a few mobs here and there, but i have gotton better at using commanding shout, and with the dps just cutting through every thing it wasn't as noticable....if any thing did actually run away i got it back with taunt. As i put in my guild app, warrior tanks aren't really the best for aoe tanking from what I've noticed/read, since we don't have a pertick damage attack. best we've got is damage sheild which does damage based on our sheild block value when we take damage from or block a melee attack. so as i stack STR and get gear with block value on it I will hold aggro better.

Ive had the opportunity to run quite a few heroics with Heilief along with Naxx 10. Ive seen him progress quite a bit in the little we've done together. Some things he still needs to work on is multi-mob (aoe) tanking and noticing when he's lost a mob to a party/raid member. Other than that, he's done an excellent job picking up the content that is new to him, and hitting the ground running with it. He has a lot of potential, and definitely worth a good look at for membership.

GOing off what Garreth said theres a lot of work to be done with your UI. Looks like you are using stock, so theres probably goign to be a huge mind fuck to get used to when we are done. As more of a personal preference, I usually like getting an action bar mod to move the buttons out of the way so you have soemthing to work with. I usually use bartender 4 which at first takes some getting used to. Also if you want to work on your player frames AG unit frames works well. Like I was sayign for those two its more of a preference thing, but you need something to start with and I like clearing the pallate as much as possible. Also pick up the DF raid pack as well. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

from running with this warr needs to work on threat gen dont know how warr tanks work as im pally myself , but against 1 mob tank did ok not quite the good market ,as the reaction time was still a tad slugish but ok something that could improve.

when it was a trash pull of 2 or more it was like he paniced even with me rolling tricks every cd on my rogue and hunter pulling with md he couldnt hold aggro.

yeah these are my first times experienceing level cap out of all the toons i've had, so i expect to need to work on things alot. as i said though i learn pretty quickly, so gimme a few and hopefully i'll have a better grasp on my skills and some better stats to beable to pull more aggro....i was only pulling 600dps in Heroic HoS which whould be averaging at least near 1k to hold good threat.... I'll admidt i kinda go a bit crazy when doing new things, so once the excitement wares off and i get the hang of things more I won't be half as bad as i was. valuable lesson learned from the times you ran with me, normal instances take alot less skill then heroics, so as i said i'm not ready for raids, but i'll get there.

i'm putting out 2 to 4k tps, with out vigil, 3 to 4.2k with vigil . people who pull aggro off me pull constant 3 to 4 tps, and are attacking off mobs usally. so i know it's mainly getting my rotations down and tab focusing more. as for dps, I'm just thinking i should do a bit more damage since my str effects certain skills. I don't want to stack in it at all, just have a little better balance.

With my druid i range anywhere from 5-8k tps on single target fights. wariors are slightly gimped with threat gen compared to other tank classes but played well they can hold their own.

ok I was up all night reading tanking docs and strats, and from what i've read dps is fairly important to threat gen just the same as my noobish skills in tab targeting, i must work on this. I decided to respec inlight of that and am going to try testing out some things in the next week.
