Most video strats cover the broad aspect of boss fights so here's some needed tips for Vezax:

1.) The less damage in raid the more mana healers will have to keep the tank alive. No one should ever get hit by Shadow Crash and should be quick to avoid people with Mark of the Faceless.

2.) Shadow Crash is denoted by a skull ontop of players' heads from your mods and Mark of the Faceless is denoted by the red X.

3.) All ranged dps should be max range from the boss; this is to avoid as much health recovery the boss receives from Mark of the Faceless. When afflicted by this spell the person should turn away from the boss and run away while avoiding other playes. You'll know you're doing it correctly when there are no green streams flowing from you to the boss.

4.) The most dangerous scenario seems to be when people are attempting to mana regen in the saronite pools. People bunch up to syphon as much as they can and tend not to pay attention to themselves or others. A Shadow Crash can easily hit all members in the saronite pools so it is imperitive to be mindful of all members who're in the pool (watch out for the skull on someone's head and run out of the pool if you see it or if you have it). The same goes with Mark of the Faceless ("X" on the head) only that the person afflicted needs to run out and away from everyone. The reason this is the most dangerous scenario is because people are stacking up the buff that transfers health for mana. If people have 3 or more stacks and are hit by either a Shadow Crash or someone with Mark of the Faceless isn't quick to run away, those members will die. I believe it is more important to watch the stacks to make sure you aren't exceeding 5-6 and for the Mark of the Faceless and Shadow Crashes over dps as the buff from the black pools left from Shadow Crash will more than make up for the lost time in mana regen.

Vezax is a test of awareness. Just be mindful of your mana and the two abilities: Shadow Crash and Mark of the Faceless and we may move on to see Yogg Saron.
