General dies tonight. We had
Atar — Thu, 06/11/2009 - 08:17General dies tonight. We had amazing attempts last night. We've grasped the fight and understand it well. What we need is more dps. Tonight we are going to be switching some stuff around.
I'm thinking about getting some duel spec action going on. Only have five healers for this. Have Lunchbox go elemental and Aurleus go enhancement. I'm going to set Grov too for General and hopefully get Jayel or Scaron for more dps. LOVE YOU GROV!
With Prime, Resq, Kosmos, Ardea, and Darth healing we'll be fine. I'm looking forward to tonight.

some tips for general
moriella — Thu, 06/11/2009 - 10:33You have two resto druids. Have them get with Rupta, he's figured out something that almost trivializes this for resto droods and mana use. Something about him melee on the boss or something restoring mana. You should be able to 5 heal this easily.
Have a disc priest standing in the black stuff throwing shields. Move out of the black to throw penence if needed.
Raiders BANDAGE. Having to raid heal due to near raid wide damage from shadow crash etc will lose this fight because it will oom your healers. This fight is about dps execution and them not taking damage.
Make sure your healers have grid configured to show hots and PW:S. If there is a PWS on a person - one druid should hot him and then everyone else LEAVE THAT RAIDER ALONE.
It's not a dps insane fight. A quick look at your parse tells me it may not be so much dps you are lacking as you are letting General V heal himself too much.

If you see green crap spewing from you to the boss run towards the boss...
If you have Mark run away from the boss... NOT to the green vapor where all your healers are standing.
I have seen some people that were standing next to the person with Mark run away from the boss... which happens to be the same thing the person with mark is doing...
I have seen people with Mark run throgh groups... this is bad but sometimes unavoidable... try not to.
If you have mark stay away from the vapors!!
I agree, we can do this with much less healing
