Oldsteel was one our higher dpsers in Torvo's 25's. I really was not suprised at Oldsteel's performance, because he really tries to top dps all the time I have known him since our last guild. One of the few hunters that I know who can play his class correctly.

Maybe push his buttons in the right order... However...

I'm seeing some talent points issues here. You can easily drop a point from Go For the Throat. You'll crit so much anyway, that your pet will be nearly focus capped anyway. That extra point doesn't give you much practical DPS.

Same issue with Expose Weakness. You can easily drop a point from that and keep near 100% uptime. Get a high enough crit rate, and you could even make an argument to drop two points from it.

The extra 1% agility you get from that last point in Hunting Party is so minimal that its not even really worth getting, if you can put it elsewhere. I'd rather take all three of those points, and toss them in Resourcefulness for more frequent Black Arrows, and longer average uptime of the dot/damage buff.

Gemming is wrong too. All of that AP should be Agility instead. Not to mention the AP to bracers should be 50. Gloves should be 20 agility. Shoulder enchant is wrong (Resilience? Really?). Stats to chest should be 10. Anything I missed?

Ok, the talent points i could drop like u said but about my gems...... i have 1 32 ap that im going to replace and the 16 ap and 12 stam are for the socket bonus. My enchant to gloves isnt 20 agil because i have an offspec and when i raid im going to be testing MM for extra 10 % ap for others and if that spec doesnt work for me ill change that enchant no problem....i dont have 50 ap to bracers because i had no money when i got the bracers and havent gotten around to it yet but soon i will when i get some money.

1. Agility/Stam (Shifting Twilight Opal) is a purple gem, and will in no way change whether you get the socket bonus or not.

2. AP offspec? Maybe if you're BM, but at the moment that is only useful for soloing. For MM, Agility is still significantly better than AP. Just a quick look at the "Calculate Attributes" option on the spreadsheet would tell you that.

3. You still don't have the gear set required to achieve max DPS as MM, so only run MM if the raid desperately needs 10% AP.

Its either a ret or holy Pally with like 500 resil or a rogue with like 100 resil.My resil is at like 500-600 depending on how much pve i wear to hit harder.

When you play with the pally does he usually get beserked? I'm not an arena junkie and I have never carried a team like rupta(from what i have heard) That having lower resiliency makes you an easier kill. So that 100 rogue is much easier to crit, stuns are much easier on him, and then you end up being all alone. Or the pally is beserked and killed from what i am guessing. Resiliency is not a sure way to win in arena, but it decreases the damage from critical strikes. And it makes your survivability go up, so from what i am guessing, and doing arena in bc on my hunter, your main issue is survivability. I have not done arena in wotlk, getting started on it as feral, so I may not be correct on my answer so if anyone wants to jump in it would help.
