this guy showed me the ropes when i had no clue what was going on with wow. he was a memeber of the first guild i ever joined ranger regiment and help me out allot like show me where UBRS was lol.

Devil is a good player. He was in LOF with me for awhile and I knew him before that; just a helpful guy. Doesn't like greed or stupidity as far as I remember or wasting time. Knows his classes. Yes he could give Cindy a run for her money with classes its true. I haven't seen him online for about a year so not sure what he was up to. Maybe another toon I don't know? That said, you have a fucking army of alts. Forgive me for going on a tangent here, but it is related and I think you might learn something from it.

We recently had a person in guild who has since left/been gkicked. I won't name names, so as a pseudonym let's call him "Decaursas." Decaursas, too, had an army of alts. Literally, he had something to the tune of 9 alts, all in guild, and all in the 70-80 range. He would frequently level multiple toons at a time, all of them reaching 80 at about the same time.

He would then proceed to run periodic heroic runs, pug VoA's, and the like, and get a small spattering of gear on a few toons, before promptly "getting bored" and dropping those toons to the wayside, in favor of his other low-70's alts which were "more fun". The end result was that he had an army of toons that he *could* play, but none of them had anything resembling good gear, enchants, gems, or anything of the sort.

To be blunt, having ONE SINGLE lv. 80 character that you spend your focus on is extremely valuable. You get their reputations up, you get them geared, you max their professions, you properly enchant and gem the gear, you learn how to raid on it, and soon enough that one character is a valuable asset to the guild. Having an assload of undergeared toons does absolutely nothing to help the guild.

It's not to say you can't fuck around and have alts. Closer, Everstar, Seraphitalia - we have a lot of people in guild who have small armies of alts. Hell, they could probably staff their own 25-man raid with their alts. But each of these people have ONE character that they focus their efforts on when it comes to raids and raid invites.

Long story short - don't apply with 10 toons. Apply with one, get them to raiding status, and then worry about the alts.

Anyways, since that's XT with the Heart for extra damage, I got curious how'd it look if we take that part of the fight out. So here it is, 7 mins of sustained tank and spank dps, though minus Heroism cause that was blown on the Heart.

Well, works more for the melee since casters have to switch back and forth with Light Sparks. Oh and I suppose anyone that don't have a long ass CD they couldn't blow again cause it was used on the Heart.

Everyone else, this is the "Patchwerk" fight and without Heroism uptime to skew anything.

Shiftyy is a RL friend of mine. Remember peeps not everyone is lucky enough too be in a game with a guild that does things. So when it comes too having alot of alts some people keep busy if they weren't totally end gamming raiding just too play with the peeps they know. To apply for a guild too be with a RL friend and do things with them and the guild there is no harm too that. 80 and gear all comes in time and everyone should know that. That being said lets look at the App first as a friendship app . If everyone is worried about Gear/ and lvl I will personally make sure I am on too hurry him up though I don't play much anymore if it means for me too reuturn playing more too see my friend become a DF than I will.

Thank you all for the quick replies my main is my Druid and is my main focus and my only other I really pay attention to is my Shaman. My main reason for having all of the other alts is mainly so I can understand the basic mechanics of the other classes as well in the previous guilds I have been in we were always short on a certain class and I would fill in that spot if required but my druid is where my heart isthat is for sure but also in the other guilds I have been in they were not very fond of having a druid fill a raid spot.

Also I would love to sit down with Primistic and learn all of the new ins and outs on the druid any and all input is greatly appreciated. Thanks for the support and vote of confidence HBK.

Well I let this go a few days but have had no input negative or posoitve(prob spelled wrong)since my last post, but hope to hear something from either side of the spectrum. Not trying to rush anyone but some acknowledgment of any type would be cool. Also there seemed to be an issue with only being 75 but I have been working on that and am now 77.
