We were a bit slower, but only 3K dps off the last 3 week's averages.
Razorscale:
Overall about the same. Technically only 1.5K dps off the previous averages.
Kologarn:
Again pretty similar. Though, actually higher in dps by about 2K, it's not faster kill, slower by about 2 sec average. That leads to believe that there was more splash damage on stuff we didn't need to kill.
Auriaya:
Best kill yet, well in the recent weeks I checked. What I believe happened here is the 5 tremor totems. Managed to get the most dps time with em down. 5 shamans every week go!
Thorim:
DPS wise despite the few deaths, well like every week, is our best, about 5K avg more. Though timewise it was, well it was right on average. This probably simply means aoe wise we were better tonight Thorim himself was average.

We were probably 60-70K dps off from an actual Heartbreak. But, we didn't have Heroism. People probably did hold back in order to not accidentally break it. And, we ran 2 tanks to deal with adds.
Comparing DPS from week to week to week:
Judging from this, if we had 1 tank, if we had Heroism, if we all gone all buck wild, we could've probably gained at least 3995.5 + 2979 + 568 + 9089 + 5589.5 + 3683 + 3535.5 + 4448 + 6766 + 2348 + 1825.5 + 4275 + 655.5
= 49757.5 more dps
Still 10-20K dps off, but this is just based on past averages. It should be higher, because well a few of us got gear upgrades so quite possible to beat the weeks before. 2 healers didn't dps at all this time around. Also, had no benchmark for at least 3 of the players. So between the 5 of them, if they could average 2-4K dps more each with Heroism, Heart would be broken. And if the ones I caught that had dps that matched the weeks before can still improve with Heroism....
Well this is mere speculation from a dps point of view only. Might not have actually have had the healers to easily one shot it.

my thoughts
Onrique — Tue, 06/30/2009 - 22:32For what it's worth, it seemed overall to be a well paced raid and our fill-ins seemed to do reasonably well (some better than others). Granted we didn't go after any hard-modes, we still seemed to be a solid raid for the most part. We made more progress than our previous non-hardmode nights considering a 45 minute late start and about a 40 minute early finish.
I think a lot of our ill-feelings are due to the fact that we expect such a high level from ourselves as a raid, and we have fallen short of what our capabilities are lately. I'd say about half of that is due to the bad timing of people's vacations/schedule conflicting events. The fact is that 95% of the guilds on this server would KILL to have a raid that functioned the way ours did tonight. Despite recents events, we continue to be in the top-tier of guilds out there.
Sure, we've got about 20% of the raid that needs to catch up, wether it be gear, rotations or expirience. I know it's not fun to have to backtrack and re-learn, re-teach and re-gear... but it's kinda like the NBA. You can't win a championship with your starters. You need a deep bench that you can fall-back on when things get hairy.
