Kitten Brigade - Ulduar con't
Continuation of Kitten Brigade raids.
On the menu:
1) Mimiron.
2) Freya (potential 2 Keepers?).
3) Thorim hard-mode.
4) Hodir hard-mode.
Assuming we complete Hodir hard-mode, everything else will likely be easy-mode. Odds are we'll be busting ass on Hodir hardmode more this week.

Good info for Kitten Brigade
Shihli — Wed, 07/01/2009 - 01:39After doing some poking around on Wow Web Stats (both our own parses, as well as some from similarly-progressed guilds that have maybe 1-2 more hard modes than we do), I came to discover something very interesting:
On the whole, our dps from last night on typical "sit and nuke" type fights (Ignis, Kologarn, Auriaya come to mind), wasn't far off from our old parses and from other groups - and in some cases, was actually better.
What this tells me is that most of the time we've spent on hard modes, we've been unable to complete them due to any of the following:
1) Lack of focus
2) Lack of experience
3) Lack of execution
4) (in cases like Thorim) Improper balance of groups
To address each point:
1) Obviously, we simply need to focus more on the task at hand as it comes to us. Appropriate consumables and such come to mind, as does simply keeping your head on straight.
2) On some hard modes (e.g. Freya, Thorim) we simply need more face time with them.
3) Hodir comes to mind - we've got a number of ways to improve upon our previous performances on him.
4) Gotta work more to find out who needs to go where, when.
Overall, I know I was quite dire about our situation on Tuesday night. After doing some poking around on parses, though, I'm much more confident in our ability to get hard modes done. At this point, it's simply a matter of keeping our raiders going.
