Darthon — Tue, 06/30/2009 - 09:05I forgot how much time a baby took up and that balancing free time and being a good parent is quite the juggling act, so I thought I would add a few notes here.
A quick word of warning for anyone thinking they want to have a kid....
1. Know you will have your WOW time cut by 75%.
2. Get the kid on a schedule so you can use the 25% left to raid.
3. Expect some crazy stuff to happen with the wife (or significant other). I swear I saw her head spin around, right after she said "you love that game more than me". Emotional rollercoaster to say the least.
4. Do not try to level a toon. It is futile.
5. Have older kids to assist during raid for feedings. This is critical, unless you have 3 hands.

You should get all this stuff down into a guide for people about to raiding with young children. How to shut up a young child, How to balance the baby in one hand or on your lap, then heal, A how to in the handbook.
