As Mori pointed out, if you wish to raid with us, our start time is 6.30 server. So unless work schedule can change, this probably wont work out as far as raiding is concerned. Aside from that, let's look at your armory.

You are 93 points over hit cap. this needs to come down, every point that you are over hit is a complete waste and you are gimping your dps because of it.

You are wearing a couple of pieces of mp5 gear. the boots and bracers. Mages benefit from spirit in the form of regen and crit. I dont see why you would wear these unless thats all thats available. Unfortunately this isnt true, you can get the boots crafted and buy badge bracers.

you socketed  stamina on your neck piece. why?

you socketed hit in your shoulders and leggings. why?

you socketed pure hit on your belt. why?

as Fireball spec, what is more important for you, haste or crit and why?

conq chest piece unenchanted. crappy BC shoulder enchant. why?

elemental focus stone is a really bad trinket unless you need the hit, which you do not.

This is not me picking on you. This is pretty standard stuff. I hope you will take some time to answer these questions because I have taken time out of my day to point out things I feel can be improved upon.  I await your response.

What might the typical reasons for missing raid be?: 

work. i get off at 7:30 server time
 
thats 60-90 minutes after our raids form.
