Hit cap, well I looked at talents more, guess I was off. 4.11% above the hit cap, 108 rating above. Might want to look into alternatives for trinket, or maybe staff.

750 with Hodir still, zero progress. These are where you get your pve shoulder enchants from.

This time staff could use better enchant, +81 sp. Not saying you *have* to get it, but as long as I see things like that, I'll comment on it.

2 more balance tier pieces as well as some other off pieces. and more hardmodes for 10man completed.

I also realize that the tier pieces are not gemmed, and will be doing that later.

You appear to be 1.45% (38 rating) above the hit cap. You can probably knock off both your +16 hit gems and still be capped.

You're exalted with Kirin'Tor, yet use a resiliance helm enchant.

At 750 Friendly with Hodir, you've appeared to have unlocked it, but did zero dailies for them.

Spell penetration gem on chest and gloves? Worthless for pve.

Boomkins get spell power and stuff from spirit right? Your leg armor should be the Spell Power / Spirit one then. (and prob your blue gems too)

Mace could use a slightly better enchant (+63 sp).

The reason im using the res enchant on that head is that i dont think its worth spending 120g on getting the krin tor one seeing as the helm isnt that great.

if the rep is that important i could go buy enough relics for exalted.

i dont know about the spirt thing too much because i just started geaing my balance set up, but ill have to look that up.

Is the 13 extra spell power really worth the 800g in mats? I also have Damination from naxx and im trying to figure out whats better for me the mace with ward of violet ciditel or the staff.

DPS is dps. I for one don't care about costs and aim for the max possible dps I can possibly get. Spending 5K for 10 extra dps, been there, done that.

Your cat and bear specs/glyphs look good for the most part. I had one question about your bear spec, why did you pick up Imp Mangle and instead of Infected Wounds?

I noticed you were geming with dodge/stam gems why havent you used agi/stam? You probably know this but the Sand Worn Band has parry rating on it and we cant parry.

How is your experience/gear with moonkin?

You said in your app that you couldnt raid as restoration, why is that?

Can you raid 4 nights a week from 6:30-10pm server consistantly?

I picked up imp mangle over infected wounds because in my old guild there was another feral druid who had infected wounds, so i was just putting up mangle all the time.

tanking is more of my off off spec, and i just never switched the gem in it, even though i should have.

yea i know about the sand worn band, but i dont have a better ring.

My moonkin set definately isnt as good as my feral set, but i know how to play moonkin just as well, but its all naxx gear.

I dont have any resto gear, and i havent healed since 70 so i dont know if id be to good at it.

yea i can raid 4 nights a week.

I see that you also said that you'd stay in downfall for as long as possible so I'm not going to do the whole "so you're going to leave after killing Yogg" thing. I'm just curious if you could expand on this thought, and tell us a little more about your expectations. I can appreciate being single minded in a goal, but what's next?

On to your UI. I can't recommend bartender or similar addons enough for druids. Druids have so many abilities and spells it isn't even funny. There is also an addon called macaroon I use to keep OH SHIT consumables and abilities/trinkets right in front of my face (some people like to keybind those, I don't out of fear of fat fingering them**). Macaroon helps make it a little easier (faster). I see you have a couple of different kinds of flask on your action bars, that's a bonus. It shows you come prepared.

I posted a couple of macros you might find useful in the UI/macro discussion, one combines your mounts into a smart macro that will pick your flying mount if its usable or your ground mount if not. Another lets you create black space around the rendered game screen where you can place your UI elements. It seems weird at first, but what you end up with is seeing everything that you need to see in the environment, with your action bars, minimap, raid frames, etc out of the way.

There's also a guide Xendu posted somewhere on the site that explains how to adjust your registry settings to reduce your latency. 100-150 isn't that bad, but you might find that useful as well. For example I went from 230ish to 70ish latency using that fix.

Don't worry about the burning out question. I answered that I would burn out back when I applied (because the 2 questions are contradictory).

PS - Pistons/Tigers/Lions suck :P

The latency fix is AMAZING as well. I had similar experiences where I went from 230 to abou 80 or so. Rupta is the boomkin guru as someone else said in here but there are a few others who can be pretty helpful as well. I only know one really good feral dps in guild and it is prim. Feral tanking ataraxia.

We run a saturday raid that starts at 11am and are always running guild apps through and we could do the same for you! If you are interested look in the next few days for a raid that ends with !1 like ulduar!1 or something similar and that is torvo's raid. We will see what you got and then post on your app for all to see ;) The process can sometimes be long but I can tell you from my year in downfall that it is WORTH IT!

GL on this app. There are some fantastic feral and boomkin druids in guild. And you dps will be compared to them so I wish you luck on trying to keep up with the awesome pew pew power of rupta and primistic mostly.

Can you please exptrapulate more on what your class does during a raid. So far I have from you... buffs, debuffs, and I play a peggle addon during all boss encounters (I hope you are joking because that is what I do during raid and expect the 9 or 24 other people to pick up my slack.)

Well besides all the buffs and debuffs, i guess it depends on the encounter and what is required, the only other jobs ive done while playing a druid is offhealing if its required, kiting a mob, picking up the boss or an add if a tank dies, and giving out breses when required.

1. Looking at your app and going through your achievements.. I personally feel that your DK is the main rather than your druid.. Your druid has only downed the first 3 bosses in Ulduar(H) while your DK still left with Yogg and Algalon in Ulduar(H).. (Your DK is in the guild TEMPEST)

2. Our guild is looking for a hardcore druid / mage (priority).. while other classes can wait..

3. Even IF you join Downfall, and IF Downfall and Tempest raid at the same time same day, which one will you raid with?

My druid has been my main since the start of wotlk, the only reason my dk has ulduar achs is that i could not find a guild that was looking for a druid, and i feel that i am better at playing my druid then my dk. Also i rarely play my dk as it is anyways, he only has 10days where as my druid has 27.

Also i dont see how my DK having the achs affects my druid not having them, if i know the fights, and i am good at playing my druid, then whats the difference?

I would leave tempest for downfall, because i do not like playing dks.

Both my balance, and feral dps gear out dps my dk on the test dummies.

There are some studies showing that melee hit cap is now 8% (see: elitistjerks.com/f31/t37856-melee_hit_cap_really_9_a/). The thread is 8 months old, but seems to be legitimate. This means your new soft hit cap is 263.

If that is the case, then you have some room to play with. Consider doing some more theorycraft and research to determine if this is correct. If yes, replace hit gems with agi gems. Ideally, you want to be as close to hit cap as you can possibly be without going over. With that said, I know that druids still benefit from having more hit.. but agi is more important in this case.

As well... SoH rep is low. Go work on it. You've had 27d of play time at level 80 and still on friendly.
