My thoughts
Dragon — Sat, 07/18/2009 - 09:41#1. RESPEC - No seriously at your gear level respec arms. Fury is back to being its old heavy gear dependent self and does not start outpacing arms till a majority of Ulduar Gear.
#2. Latency - Find some way to drop that latency down. Especially if you spec arms since ideally you would like to be in the 150ish range. If you are running Windows Vista or XP there should be topics on this site as well as Elitist Jerks and the internet that give you ways you can lower it.
#3. Glyphs - As fury you should be easily swimming in rage come boss fights, so pick up the glyph of whirlwind. Also consider dropping Glyph of Victory Rush and picking up Glyph of Cleave. Glyph of Bloodrage would be good too instead of thunderclap which you will have to change stances to do as fury.
#4. Enchants - Shoulders and Helm are both enchanted with resil. That is bad especially since your offhand weapon shows that you are already revered with the Ebon Blade. Also your 2 weapon enchants are just downright terrible. 2h weapons can get up to 85 AP on them but honestly you should be trying to aim for beserking on both. Yes they are crap weapons, but you never know when an upgrade will FINALLY drop. Also your gloves are fairly decent, time to change to 44 AP to gloves. Pants are also not using the best enchant either (75 AP/22 CR).
#5. Gems - First of all you do NOT need to match gem sockets with their color. Any gem can go into any gem slot. So you can take out all those hit gems and hit/expertise gems and move them to straight strength. As far as the AP/stam gems go, you are selling yourself short, get the Str/Stam gems for extra AP.
#6. Current Talents - If you are having problems with range (and since you are very much over hit cap) drop points in precision and put them into Berserker Rage instead.
Ok I think that is enough for now. Just know that the App process takes a LONG time and as a dps it will take even longer. So you gotta stay active on the site and hang out in DFrecruit.
Edit: One last thing, what is your fps? I've dpsed on a warrior with bad fps (read >3) and high fps (60) and I can tell you that is another big thing that changes dps warrior damage.

The reason I linked the fury one is two-fold. Since you aren't a tank and have no plan on tanking, you are better off making your 2nd spec fury so that on fights when you need to interupt you can change specs and Pummel at a lower dps opportunity cost than if you were arms.

irronbeard — Wed, 07/22/2009 - 11:35So...i was in VoA25 today with my new spec and gear and stuff's....SOMEHOW my dps droped...horribly as well, after looking over the forums and whatnot for a proper and usefull rotation...my dps "though limited at the time" went from a crappy 2300-2500 dps to a SHITY 1900-2000 dps...AND i got passed up on loot cause i was on the bottom...seriosely wtf is going on now...This "Cookie Cutter" spec doesnt seem to be doing more at all, infact, its doing worse...past few days i was 6th on damage done...now im 18th... I dont know what the deal is...im in Battle stance, as told, and doing the proper rotation "as shown" and keeping all nessesary CD's on CD but for some freakin reason...im worse off then i was b4...im not going to argue with Cookie Cutter...but maybe suggest a highly In Depth look into possible causes for this HUGE drop...idk maybe i should be talking to a DPS war or something...Forums dont help...just a bunch of ppl arguing about whats better or worse...gets nowere...so idk...WTF is going wrong here!?

Also, I've heard Arms is though better with lower gear, is also very swing timer GCD frame rate dependent. If you have a shit computer, it'll mess you up.

considering your gear, not so much you need to reconsider your spec, fury is so gear heavy these days and naxx gear just makes fury suck major cock right now
regardless even with you're spec
you're using precision instead of imp zerker rage or a combo of both, and considering you're hit doesn't take talents into affect you're WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY over cap nerf you're hit drop precision.
not taking imp cleave vs commanding presence can be argued especially if you have more than one warrior in the raid for commanding presence but generally speaking if you're aiming for strict dps, which warriors badly need these days, then u need to pick up at least the 3 points and drop to 2/5 in commanding.
you should also try and aim for execute if possible as a fury warrior its pretty integral on those boss fights to pop your bloodrage and zerker rage and then exe spam to burst you're dps.
consider 2 points in parry and putting 2 points in imp charge for a stance dance HS charge to get a decent rotation going and getting deepwounds moving.
as saedo said whats the point of enduring victory and the victory strike glyph how many bosses is that going to be useful for?
you're prot spec/ glyphys are down the same road
imp rend(i rend as a tank, one of the few in the guild who does but not imp), tactical mastery(how often are you stance dancing as a tank?), imp spell reflection and imp disarm(how many bosses can you disarm, 4h?) before incite or tclap?
glyph of sunder...... i'll let you explain, but for the record it does no added threat to the secondary target it just puts up a sunder.
and you're missing two minors not that warrior minors are paramount to ability of the class but either way..... fix it
