My point scale for app. I normally don't read apps, but someone ended up on this one and in that case I did read and I will comment.

Scoring. This is a + and - point scale, a 0 is perfect. Going from top to bottom of your app:

Excessive use of shorthand and sense instead of since, -2, just sickens me.

Lack of informative UI, canceled with Downfall raid pack, 0. Could always be super macro'd like me, but doubt it.

I can't see the comments right now, but I know something about you're patient, and leaving your current guild because they BS runs... often times no dedicated raiders? Shinz gave ya crap but I understand this and been in this situation, so +1.

Final score is somewhere around -250. But since points actually don't matter (a lot like Obama or Who's line is it), I guess this post was worthless...

Ok first i have known Xii for a very long time. Him and I randomly met in the game while we were leveling our toons sofija and of course XiiCaeser, way back in burning crusade. And i have to say that ever since i met him, i have  come know him as an awesome guy. He helps whenever he can, and most of all he is not a raging asshole that treats people like shit, nor does he talk down to other players. And the longer we have played i have seen him progress very well in the game in terms of gear/skill and reputation with people on our server. And i know personally that it takes a lot to get accepted into Downfall. Downfall is a very particular guild that does not want a bunch of immature dumbasses talking shit in Gchat and being a general pain in the ass. With this being said, Xii's personality and generally polite behavior and his sense of humor, i believe would match well with the members of Downfall. But of course if his playing skills arent up to par with downfalls, im sure you guys could help him out a lot. There are members in this guild are beyond words skilled in the ways of this game and have plenty of knowledge and experience to bestow on others who may be in need. But hell i would definitely say he has my vote. Give em a shot.

now that I have your attention,  one of my other toons is in Night shift and while I can't make more than one of their raids every week,  I can tell you what I DO know about Xii.        Doesn't start shit, doesn't talk shit.  He follows directions well, and he certainly seems to know his stuff.   Good luck on your app!

I was going to mention what karli already said.  He works til 1030 at night.  That is a bummer but is what it is.  Does your schedule change or is it pretty set?  WE have a 10/25 man that we run sat mornings if you dont work on saturdays and usually have enough healers for 25 mans but usually are lacking in tanks and dps.  Anyway if you see me in game or dfrecruit with any toon that starts with "blue" that is me.  Hit me up and I will run some stuff with you and try and get you into some raids as well. :)

Oh, and to answer your questions:  First, we don't impose a time table on apps, simply because being subjective works in our favor.  For some people it's a quick app, for others it's longer.  But generally, we like to take the time to get to know both who you are as a player and as a person too, both by posts in your app thread and by having you /join DFRecruit to chat with us in-game and learn about open raid spots, etc.

As far as late night raids go, as I mentioned to you our two main 25 man raids run earlier in the evening.  There are a lot of people though in the same situation as you (myself included) that really prefer a much later raid time if possible.  Several guildies put together these types of runs late at night or on the weekends, but they aren't as predictable.  Keep checking the events calendar on the website to sign up for things you're interested, and as mentioned above, the DFRecruit channel in game is a good way to get in to the action.
