I feel that things like DBM, decursive, scorchio2, should be required for raids that way you know whats coming, it doesn't matter if you've done the fight 20 biggillion times you can still screw up.

Raid Experience:

Mainly BC content honestly started played wow just a little before BC came out (Yeah i was dragged in by South Park -.-)Karazhan-Cleared, Gruul's Lair-Cleared, Magtheridon's lair-cleared, Serpentshrine Cavern-Cleared, Tempest Keep-3/4 (I was a nub that got into BT/MH after they reomved attunement lol....), Mount Hyjal-Cleared, Black Temple- Killed Illidan pre 3.0 once but had no loot, no quests anything as proof so still dont have that stupid achievement...Sunwell-Only got Kalec pre nerf -.-
Wotlk:Naxx10/25-Cleared, Obsidian Sanctum10/25-cleared through 1 drake (Nobody ever seems to want to try 3 drakes =/), Eye of Eternity 10/25-cleared, Vault of Archavon 10/25-cleared(lol), Ulduar 10/25- Haven't had the best Ulduar luck been through Mimiron on 10 man and Auriaya on 25., Trial of the Crusader 10/25-0/5 Have had very close pug attempts on first boss but have failed by people getting hit by Icehowl's charge...how do you get hit by that -.-
As for my role in the raids in my old guild of Fallen Heroes I was literally THE ONLY other mage in the guild that was competent enough to raid and/or level 70. If we needed a mage tank for Illidari Council well I got that, if we needed a mage to help cc something I got that to lol pretty much I was a main raider in the guild which finished around 3-4 on the server at the end of BC(pre 3.0). Oh and wall of text crits your brain for instant death.

Okie dokie...you are now the next contestant on "Kwon is bored at work"

1) Epic Gems...get em.. You got one in your helm and that's a good start! keep going!

2) You are almost exactly 1% over hit cap after considering raid buffs + dranei. A near perfect substitution for you would be taking out http://www.wowhead.com/?item=47560 for something like http://www.wowhead.com/?item=45566. Those aren't too expensive to make anymore...probably cost you 1.3K for all 6 orbs, and you can make the cloth yourself.

3) Your gear (as it is currently constituted) is actually a lot better for FFB than it is for TTW/Fire. You've got 27% Fire Crit before Molten Armor - which would put you at about 35-37% Fire Crit self buffed, and well over 50% once accounting for all desirable raid buffs. On the other hand, you have 238 haste which frankly doesn't cut it for TTW/Fire. A good haste rating to strive for is 400-450. My suggestion would be to maximize the DPS your current gear allows you to output by going FFB until you can gather enough pieces to make TTW/Fire more competitive for YOU. In your current gear set up...FFB will likely do more damage.

4) You're missing two minor glyphs.

Hit: All gear that drops for seems to have hit rating on it...I literally can't get away from it -.- But also part pf the reason is that I dont always get to run with a perfect raid buff setting so I can switch my gear around for more hit but less hit is actually hard for me to do -.-

ffb: I tried out ffb a week or two ago and it was lower for me then ttw/fire idk maybe im just weird like that lol

minor glyphs: I don't have two minor glyphs because honestly what is their that's useful besides slow fall? Frost armor for pvp, I use polymorph turtle so dont need penguin, and I guess I can grab Intel one just not really anything that helps =/

Fights in Ulduar that deal fire damage: Ignis, Razorscale, Mimiron, Freya

Therefore, there is SOME utility to the Frost Ward and Fire Ward minor glyphs. No those are not targeted fire or frost spells, so it won't reflect damage...but they will DE-flect the damage once every 20 times so you don't require AS much healing.

Trazie is yet another friend of mine who wishes to be in the same guild as I am.

However, I will say out of all my friends who play WoW and have raided, Trazie here has by far the most experience and skill, he had downed Illidan as his futhest progression, which is not too shabby for a BC raider (I never got that far).

I do not know a lot about mages, and I am not going to pretend like I do, just take my comment as a personality check for him.

Gear: Can't see his pve gear in armory/wowhead right now...but I remember it being solid. If I remember correctly, he's got the 4 piece tier 8 which is a big benchmark for fire specs

Spec: Nothing wrong with his spec - though I personally prefer a point or two in arcane meditation over student of the mind now due to the replenishment nerf.

Reps/Achieves: Exalted with Kirin Tor/Crusade/Wyrmrest, but only honored with Sons of Hodir. Scanning his achieves, it looks like the farthest he's been in Ulduar is Thorim/Hodir. As he said in app, no luck in CC so far.

Profs: Herbalism/Tailoring is an odd combo. I'm assuming the herbalism is for money/pot making, but note that it isn't one of the highest DPS professions (JC/enchanting)

Biggest concern without more info on gear/gems/chants would be the 300-400 MS latency do to wireless cell card. Any way to fix that?

I guess I'll throw out a question to the app: There are a few major controversies for fire mages in 3.2 and beyond - as discussed in EJ forums. Which of these intrigues you the most and do you have a view on any of them? (yes i realize he could simply go and read EJ right now if he didn't know what the controversies were, but then he'd be smarter for it anyway!).

Gear: Sorry I had remembered to log out in pve gear all this weekend but just kind of spaced about it after messin around in arena last night -.- And I sadly do not have 4 piece t8 I have two piece (Helm and Gloves) and I have been working on getting the chest.

Spec:Yeah idk I really didnt notice a difference between the two when I was messin around with specs.

Reps/achives:Yeah I have honestly been a little slack with Sons of Hodir farming and I can get on that and I've done through Mimiron in Uld 10, but like I said haven't been able to find the greatest groups and kept wiping in p4.

Profs:Tailoring is an obvious one as it is (Debatably) the top dps mage Prof atm. As for Herbalism, I had used that during BC to afford my epic flyer before they had increased the daily amount to 25 and just really never changed back =/ have been considering picking Engineering back up (It's what I had before I switched to herb in BC) since it seems to have gotten decent again and it's a fun prof.

Concerns: As for gems and enchants Ill log out in my pve gear so you can see them but I am fully gemmed, enchanted (although since I only have Plasma Foil I do not have 63 sp). With the latency I gave the lower end numbers it can be 150-400 based on the time of the day it's random, but always i that area, but that shouldn't honestly be a big deal since I live a little out of the city limits and cannot get Roadrunner or any decent internet I raided during BC on a 2.5k latency internet connection lol.....

EJ dicussions: Some of the problems for fire (I raid as fire so I'll address these) are disputes on whether or not to use glyph of scorch, since for some grp comps it can be very helpful(Mainly 10mans with 1 mage). The gear itemization in CC may force ttw/fire mages to gem into some hit since many items lack the hit and some Mages are unable to be hit capped without going ffb for precision. The changes to LB not procing Hot streak are also a pretty hot subject for mages right now as for a little while it was amazing and well, op.
