I have taking a spot with Redemption, at the very least it is a good temporary home, perhaps a permanent one. They have an immediate need for my class and spec. I was referred to them from an APT officer. Please do not let this deter your decision on my application. Better to be part of something than a part of nothing. Even if it is for a short time.

Well, the application process here is usually a long one. We do look for the community first then raid situation. Long term fits rather than short term mercs that emo out and leave us in a big pile of burning shit that still might give us ever lasting memories and possibly even a new meme to use every single day.
You being locked to another raid should we need you could wind up slowing things down to a halt. Sure there could be the 5 mans, and random other raids around, but still limits tryout possibilities.
But yea, like Derch says, they should know of your intentions and the app here.
If you don't intend to stay

If they aren't aware of that, its kind of dickish to lead them on by thinking they have a new player when you intended to leave the whole time. Also, if you run with them you'll likely be locked to anything that we would want to pull you in to try you out on. That severely puts a slow down on your app, making it really hard on us to give you a shot. On the other hand, if Redemption is where you want to be, then thats where you need to be.
So, summed up: Let Redemption know your intentions, if they're okay with that I'm okay with that, but know that what ever you lock yourself to, you will NOT be able to run with us and we won't be inclined to bring you to anything else during that lockout period.

I have no idea if I am going to stay with Redemption, nor do I know with any certainty that I will get into any of their raids. If I do perhaps I will stay, I think its also odd that you would have a fellow player stay in a collapsed guild and just wait for "three weeks or three months" for your guild to decide if I am worthy. I like to play the game and really like the atmosphere that 25 man content brings to my job in a raid. Their raid times are a bit different.
I will also let you know exactly how the invite went.

I did he said /gquit I did and got a ginvite.
He said be on I might need you for tonights raid.
That has been all that has been discussed, I will let them know that I have an app in with your guild as well.
Also as a side note this is the only guild I have applied too since joining APT. But in all my WOW years have never had a guild fall apart. I hope that sheds some light on the matter.

A rare app with a decent UI

People that can balance their appreciation for a solid wow community with their desire to blow shit up in raid do well around here. Apps that think the guild is just a mechanism to get them loot usually don't make it in.
I'd like to hear more talk about what you're going to bring to US. Why do I need to add yet another player to our 350+ guild membership.

I get the feeling that he's sincere in being a part of the team, and its probably a good sign that he's not leaving his guild on bad terms, but is simply unable to follow his former teammates. That he can offer a reference from his previous guild is probably a sign that he's an OK guy (assuming that reference were to check out if you pursued it).
Yea, on second glance this guy's totally not like Jashrio, who basically came into the app process guns blazing, all "yea you neeed huntard dps??? I got it buddy! Best In Server!! Yea and I need teh lootz to keep me happy"
Talisdar's responses seem sincere, well thought out, and his gear/ui/mods are actually really good so it seems.

I understand your concerns, and can tell you that I am indeed a team player, help lower level players gear up, alts gear up can show people a ton of different options for healing and UI set up's. I just picked up MSBT a few weeks ago and can tell you that alone has made me a stronger player. It came while looking at other guidies UI's. You will not be disappointed in me or the way I handle myself. If its a VC run for some twinks or Yogg I am there for you and at your disposal. I still do 5 mans and am missing a few achievements. As a side note from what I saw in the forums your looking for a healing priest for raids. Perhaps why my slant was that way. Well with the current content it can be cleared in a few nights, still a lot of other nights to help out your guild.

As for your missing some of the five man achievements still, I am running a group this afternoon to knock some of the harder 5 man achievements out of the way. I go every week and help out, and I dont need any loot out of there at all, the emblems are nice but im sitting on about 500 of them at this time. So no need for me to go, kinda like Ulduar unless its hard modes no need for me to go. But to help the guild out I will be glad to come, if they need me to step out so someone else can get loot fine by me.
