Raid : Git-R-Done - Crusader's Coliseum / Ulduar - 10 man

We run Saturday evenings. Invites start at 5pm Server, and we go until people pass out at their keyboards!!!!
Loot rules are simple...you want it...roll need (main spec, dual spec, off spec). We do this for the benefit of the 25 man raiders. With the release of dual spec, healers are now expected to DPS on the fly, Tanks expected to put out reasonable DPS during single tank fights and what not. We've created this set of rules to help put that off spec gear on MAIN toons. If you aren't sure or iffy about a peice...roll greed. (All alts roll greed)

Ora and I were talking today, and it's a high probablility that we're going to have him back on his shaman for these. 1. cause it's his main...who wants a cool mount on an alt!? lol@aidin's bear. 2. The purdy melee buffs he brings.
With that said...we need to talk about tanks and heals...we have quite a few options
Possible tanks: Jay Kaluu and Intercepter
Possible heals (if Kaluu has to tank) : Morgyn, Business, Leigh, me.
I don't want to pick this set up willy nilly...let's think how to best optimize our raid. For example...I'd be better suited to DPS then heal. Business would be better suited to heal then DPS. Tellz me what yall think!

Aidin — Tue, 09/08/2009 - 12:04Guys...we have it in our grasp to potentially knock out the Glory of the Ulduar Raider achievment, which gives us a mount as a reward.
Now...with that said, doing these hard modes would have us extending based on those that we need fullfilled. We knocked Freya out of the park and got some good shots in on Mim.
Although hard modes were never our focus...they are within our grasp. Tell me what you guys want to do (raid direction) here are our options:
1. Just wing it and go where the fun is.
2. Focus on CC both reg and heroic
3. Focus on ulduar achiements for drakes
4. Alternate weekends. One Sat focus on CC/VoA then next Ulduar hard modes (will require some reclear)...rinse repeat.
5. Insert your opinion here....

There are plenty of people in guild who would love to take shots on designated hard modes to fill in their own gaps. We can still run together as GRD for CC/VoA, Ulduar reclears...whatever....but if anyone simply doesn't want the pressure of the hard mode, we will not force you! lol

This is also how I see our next 2 weeks:
we are missing Morgyn this week since his wife wants a date and we all know that he needs kid 21.
My theory is take a few shots at 3 and 4 tower FL just to get more practice under our belt. Go blow up XT as usual HM, nuke kolo and auriaya.
I got a new strat I heard about for hodir that'll give us some time to implement that plus go ahead and off thorim as usual. If time knock out 3 keeper freya for Jay.
The following week that would leave us IC, Mim and Ignis. The reason we don't do Ignis the previous week is because we all hate the trash. Straight zerg fest here (4 minute timer iirc) and this would give us ~2 extra weeks of ToC gear on our toons. After Ignis knock out IC if we have most of our group. With a paladin tank in our group it SHOULD* be relatively easy for our group.
That should have us looking straight at the mechanical gnome in need of punting on a timer. As kwon said, this I think is where the true cockblocks will come in.
Get that down, make all the healers suffer through another General HM for Jay (lets aim to put kaluu at >100 mana this time) and then its onto yoggy. We have a lotta splash AoE in raid to help with the adds while they burn yogg in p3. So the biggest thing here is gonna be watching debuffs etc since there will be no insanity refills.
Anyway there is my overanalyzed timeline of our next 2 raid nights. We can go ahead and assume that we wtf pwn up some CC10 before we go bashing our heads against the wall in ulduar.
Besides then maybe aidin will stop complaining about all the blue proto drakes in guild and the VH achievements that hate her <3

At this point, until we get our tanks into atleast a few peices of tanking gear from normal CC 10 and/or 25, we might not be able to do heroic CC10 due to the sheer amount of damage our tanks will be taking.

Mimiron, and Yogg + 1 are the C*ckblocks. You already got Freya down. Mimiron should take you 4 nights of non-stop pulls unless you feel like you've hit a wall somewhere. After Mimiron's down, Vezax's could be half a night of pulls, and Yogg+1 another night and a half to two nights.
Faction champs comp notwithstanding, you can clear normal CC + Voa in 2 hours. Heroic is a different story. But you can wait on heroic 10 man a bit as your raiders get geared more with 25 man loot / 10 man TOC loot.
Also, getting to fight algalon is a treat beyond what I had expected - even though he massively r*ped our faces off.

And Kwon...we WTFPWNED Vez the same night we 2 shot Freya 3 keeper....WHAT A NIGHT. We have a few piddly crap like Iron Dwaft Med. Rare ...bigges, Yogg, Mim, Hodir and Ignis.
