Wii price cut?

So the cost of a Wii right now is $249.99. I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about a price cut coming this winter? My mom wants to buy a Wii but wants to wait incase of a price cut. And with my mom, this will mean she'll never buy one because eventually it will become cheaper.
I tried to google this, but it was way too hard to find an up to date article. But then I found an article on IGN from the first saying PS3 and XBox just had a price cut, but nintendo said it wouldn't. Has anyone heard other (since PAX) that Wii will have a price cut?

I used to have a Wii (sold it after awhile) loved having it, very fun system. mine was a first gen one so I had to drive up to nintendo (about an hour and a half) and have it repaired but otherwise it was a great system to own. Zelda was pretty fun and Guitar Hero is always a blast......and yes Wii Sports can be fun..... unless you overplay it and then everytime a friend is over and says "HEY lets play Wii Sports" you'll want to shoot yourself for not breaking the disc long ago lol

They will cut it, but they'll
Kwondre — Thu, 09/10/2009 - 04:25They will cut it, but they'll do it in conjunction with the launch of the HD Wii. At least that's what i hear from "contacts"
Nothing has been announced.
pulga — Wed, 09/09/2009 - 21:21Nothing has been announced. I haven't even really heard a rumor. Not only that, but the wii doesnt compete with ps3/360 so Nintendo isnt as pressured to price cut to contend. I'd expect a $25-$50 cut soonish though.
