It'll take priority of targetting a Nether Portal -> Infernal Volcano -> Mistress of Pain -> Lord Jaraxxus.
Use MT windows for Fel Inferno targetting focus fires.
Well probably more ranged dps needs this, melee dps can keep the Nether Portal portion. The rest hurt melee kinda and I'd like to avoid attacking them if possible.

Vitriola — Tue, 09/15/2009 - 11:36I am not a guru of wow macros, but this does not seem ideal. There can, for example, be several infernals. This could target one that is not the same as the one everyone else is targeting. What we *actually* want to do is target what Luminaire is targeting.
What if we could have a macro something like this:
/assist Luminaire
or even
/target [Luminaire=focus] (i.e. make Lum's focus my target)
/petattack
Again, I am not sure of the syntax, but this seems a better approach to me, if it can be done.

Perhaps we should Heroism off the bat, the only time all of us are alive and on Jaraxxus. Get him as low as possible before the first portal, since those things are timed. Like the Anub hard mode strat, zerg before burrow!
And with it at the start, we'd probably get part (all) of the portal with it too, maybe enough to burn it in 1, kill Mistress fast, and more dps time on Jaraxxus before all hell breaks loose when the Infernals appear.

Two. Yes, target what Lumi's targetting. But this gets you the exact same targets without waiting for him to target them. Well I suppose the Mistress' can be left out too since there's bound to be 2 in the 25 man version (I hear Heroism on Portal can get enough dps to burn it before the 2nd). So 10 man version this macro is fine.
So it would be quicker response for the more important targets like Nether Portals and Infernal Volcanos, as soon as they spawn and you might not even have seen them drawn on screen yet.
