DBM is a must. Makes life much easier for the whole raid, and I don't want to remember how I managed to play this game before I found out about it.

PvE

Raid Experience:

I unfortunately skipped raiding during the original World of Warcraft and didn't get the chance to experience a raid until the Burning Crusade. At the time, my main was a prot warrior and as a former member of Tempest I raided all T4 content, as well as full SSC and part of Tempest Keep. I never had the chance to battle Kael during BC. When WotLK came out, circumstances forced me to play my paladin as Holy and I experienced every single raid in 10/25 difficulty before Ulduar came out. At the time, I was a member of Serenity and main healed all bosses in Ulduar 25 up to the Keepers (which unfortunately was never able to fight in 25man diff). I left Serenity for personal reasons and decided to stop playing my Paladin, so I could dedicate myself to the two classes I liked the most from this game: Hunter and Feral Druid Tank. After Serenity, I joined Tainted, and helped the raid by healing initially on my paladin til other healers in the guild were geared up to the point they could take over that role and I was free to play my Hunter/Druid as needed. Unfortunately, we could never get past Mimiron and our guild/raid started falling apart. Since then, I have focused raiding on my Hunter and have cleared both ToCs 10 and 25 man in Normal Mode... and hopefully will begin working on the Hard Modes in the coming weeks.

I havent botherd to open your armory and look it over yet (and aint in the mood to do so right now) but i will say that Derchlon knows his theroycraft better than anyone. so follow his instructions, and quickly.

Gem choice is still bad. I don't know if this is because you don't have the money to fix it or not, but we are about optimization here. If we bring you to raid to deal damage, we want you dealing as much damage as you are capable of. This isn't BC anymore, Hunter's don't use agi/stam gems in our blue slots unless the bonus is worth 10 agility or a comparable dps stat to the equivalent.

and we CERTAINLY don't put them in yellow slots that could give us 4 more agility and 10 more crit rating, at the cost of 150 health or so. The conversion of stam to AP isn't good enough to gem for it.

Your gun needs an 10 agility/10 crit gem in it

your staff needs a 20 agility gem in it.

your gloves need 10 agility/10 crit in it.

your Boots and your helm also need 10 agility/ 10 crit in them.

FIX THIS PLEASE.

didn't get to read this app till now since G took FOREVER TO FIX THE POINTS ON THE SITE...

but this app seems really well written. I like the commentary on why he wants to be a downfall member:

"I want to be able to see the End Game... not just to kill the Final Boss, or to get that Legendary Bow... but to be part of the fight, feel the rush of that Boss Kill, be able to congratulate 24 other people on a job well done and to finally experience the Lore of the End Game firsthand, not to read about it on a wikipage."

Assuming he means it, and isn't just saying it to get in (I mean there's always Gkick isn't there?)...I think that's an awesome attitude, and even got me a little pumped.

Salmon had him in raid with us Tuesday night and he did a real good job. He knew boss strats and came prepared to raid. He is a very likable guy and got along really well with everyone. I would definitely invite him again if we need a dps.

I've been running with this guy for the last 2 months every Friday and Sunday in a Semi-Pug Toc 10 and 25. He is always there on time and ready to go. Reads and watches strats on boss encounters and if he doesnt know hell ask. Very likeable fellow in vent. He has my vote!

You come off sounding like a nice enough fellow, but we have a TON of hunters in guild, almost all of which are solid raiders. We might not have a direct spot for you to fill in a 25 man. However, things happen and you seem a decent fellow. Here are my suggestions:

The yellow sockets in your helm, your gloves, and your boots should all be Deadly Ametrine (10 agility 10 crit). Also, as long as you're going to use Grim Toll, put 16 agility on your boots intead of Icewalker.

Enchant on your Weapon should be 110AP, NOT 35 agility.

Talentwise, you'll want to move a point from Expose Weakness or Hunting Party, and put it in Resourcefulness.

Fixing that should increase you about 27 dps. Other than that, looks good.

Thanx. I had a similar arrangements on the gems a couple weeks ago, but someone else suggested I should go full Agi on the sockets. Then again, back then I wasn't using my Grim Toll and hadn't acquired the Darkmoon Card, so those changes in trinkets probably altered the stat composition. Already changed the gems, and will switch the enchantments as soon as I can gather all the mats. Probably will do the Agi to boots now and will have to do some farming for the 110 AP.
