Why Health Care reform must happen

Yes, I know this is Keith Olbermann, and I know his opinions and his show don't gel with many of the people in guild. But this video is an absolute must-watch - regardless of your views - because it deals with your right to live. Your RIGHT to LIVE.
It's 43 minutes long, but you simply MUST watch this video, as this debate is too important to ignore.

I unfortunately am quite familiar with how the insurance companies work from a getting screwed standpoint having been with a family put into bankrupcy because they decided to just ignore the contact that you both agreed to.
My personal feelings on the matter aside, this is something I think everyone should watch.

garreth — Wed, 10/21/2009 - 03:01I just got around to watching this all the way through. It's Olbermann, so you gotta really use your OWN brain to get through his impassioned pleas instead of taking everything at face value (a distinction, I believe, that separates Olbermann watchers from Limbaugh watchers!)
However, I don't disagree with him and its a reasoned argument. I watched my aunt die and my family bear the burden of her massive, crippling medical bills for many years after. My grandfather had to come out of retirement - at age 70 - just to keep our extended family afloat and help pay off the hospital bills of his only daughter who he buried years before.
And then I found out that it's laughable to go bankrupt paying for medical care in other, advanced democracies around the world. It's an anomaly, completely unique to the US. We have the best care in the world. But we also have the vastly most expensive. Sick Around the World, a PBS Frontline documentary, dives into how other countries provide healthcare that is both universal and cheaper. It's eye-opening. As one reviewer of this documentary put it:
A non-ideological look at different approaches to health care. If you are one of those rare people who likes to have some knowledge on a particular topic before forming an opinion, this can be a good first step towards educating yourself on health care.
I recommend we all go get a bit of education on this.

(non-WoW related) Downfallers, watch this video.
