I think mods are helpful and sometimes necessary for some encounters. I try to keep my mods on the low side so that I can focus mroe on what is going on around me. Some mods though I feel take the challenge out of the game and in my opinion lower your true skill level.

I go to school as a Performing Arts Major with a minor in Math. I play 14 instruments and do all sorts of ballroom and latin dances. I work as an Umpire for baseball, A math tutor, a dance instructor, and I work at the San Diego Ice Arena.

What is your current roll healing? Do you straight raid heal most of the time? Or do you find yourself doing alot of tank healing?

Usually shaman only gem straight intelect when your doing alot of tank healing in which case i would expect you to be glyphed for LHW, your not??? I would also expect you to take HW over elemental weapons. Elemental weapons is a straight 45 sp that doesn't scale, not very valuable in my opinion.

Also I am wondering why you use the sp/crit enchants on helm on shoulders but enchant your boots with mp5?? for the most part fights now require alot of moving so tuskar's vitality is pretty much the standard. And as far as helm and shoulder enchants it personal preference really, but your crit is already through the roof because of your gemming choices so mp5 would probably better.

Finally [Band of the Invoker] should be replaced as soon as possible spirit is useless to us try getting yourself a [Ring of the Darkmender] they have come down alot in price and are BiS for us with the exception of the heroic version.

So I've changed out all my gems. Now all haste instead of Int. I'm going to try out the [Healing way] Talent as well. Still working on my ring though.

^^ agree with everything here. I just swapped my helm enchant to sp/crit though (I cant go OOM if I try on most fights).

You will very rarely get asked to tank heal in our raids (at least not to a point where stacking haste is going to hinder you dramatically). You will get asked to raid heal and point for point, haste is our most valuable stat til around 1100 (when your LHW starts clipping the GCD).

As far as healing way goes. Even if you only use it w/ Nature's Swiftness its worth the points. I would pick it up, especially if youre stacking haste, it is a good way to get somebody up quickly and is very usable with tidal waves up (which should nearly always be the case).

I can see why going haste would be beneficial. I already have the gems sitting in my bank. I just want to see how how compare the way I am gemmed right now. I've never faced off against a Haste Shaman and I think it will be a good experience.

I usually find myself tank/melee healing. I chose to stack straight intellect because I was having issues with Over Healing. So instead of healing as hard and just doing a lot of Over Healing, I am able to last longer and I tend not to Over Heal as much. It's just the style I've been playing and it has been very successful thus far. I am always willing to adjust to the need of the raid

I personally don't use Healing Wave very often, which is why I didn't spec into it. If it also effected Lesser Healing Wave, which it does not, I would be more likely to use it. However, if you think this is more beneficial then I will look further into it.

After researching your concerns about my boot enchant I have made the appropriate changes.Concerning the enchants I have on my shoulders/helm, I chose to get crit because of the trinket I got a few weeks back [Solace of the Defeated]. I have found that in battle my mp5 is 800 while not casting and 600+ while casting. I felt that with this trinket I would benefit more from the crit because I do not find myself going OOM.

.I've been trying to replace [Band of the Invoker] for a while now. It was an upgrade to what I was using before. I will look into the price on [Ring of Darkmender] as soon as I log on.

With your concern for overhealing drop glyph of riptide and get LHW the periodic portion of riptide is normally all overhealing. Also im trying to understand how you do less overhealing with gemming straight int, the majority of our overhealing is due to priests/druids with instant heals effectively sniping our heals. So casting your heals slower should effectively increase the chance for overhealing???

Either way change the one glyph from riptide to LHW and be on next Tuesday at 6:00 pm server so we can get some parses and see how you perfrom.

My bracers do not have a gem slot. I believe that is an error. I have +16 int enchanted on them. Not sure why it didn't show up. I'm also using <i>Solace of the defeated</i> instead of the trinket from normal ToC 5.

I don't use many mods for my healing. I have x-perl for my raid frames and have made a bunch of target=mouseover macros. I try to use all my spells at the appropriate time instead of just spamming Chainheal. Although at times that might be the right approach
