i definitely like, nigh need, addons. some can clean up the standard UI and provide more info more clearly, and others let us know when our serpent sting is about to run out and set our tracking to the current target type to give us a bonus 5% dmg.

(i just started playing again for the first time since july... don't have much 3.2 experience yet)
from what i can tell it's wuite a bit different from classic raiding, which is not so much fun for me...

Have had you in raid the past few nights this week. Performed reasonably well on the meters, was a little bit ... chatty regarding the perceived shortcomings on certain fights of various guild members though. Not sure I'd be so quick to comment on the mistakes others make when it's the second week of a boss.

That said, I'll chat more with the other officers and see what we can figure out for you.

Why are you putting 20 agility on your gloves when you could use pyro rockets from engineering? Pyro rockets are worth more dps than 20 agility. Using Pyro Rockets instead would be a 23.16 dps increase. Same with your cloak, you are using 22 agility when you could use flexweave (23 agility engineering only cloak enchant). That is worth a 1.6 dps increase, not to mention convenient parachute functionality outside of raid.

I can understand feeling like 16 agility is better than the engineering boot enchant. This one is debatable, and in the end is your choice. If you can use the boots to get to a location to dps sooner, go for it. If not 16 agility is just fine.

Gem choice after putting in the Nightmare tear is alright. You could gain .06 dps by switching your two yellow sockets to Deadly Ametrine, but .06 isn't worth switching out a gem on its face. You're fine there.

Glyphs and talents: I experimented with Imp Hawk and glyphing for hawk, but you will find that glyphing for Steady Shot and tossing that talent into Hunting Party will net you more damage. I'd also take one more point out of Expose Weakness and use it to finish Hunting Party off. For you, it should end up being about a 20 dps gain.

Pet spec is wrong. I'm assuming you're using your wolf "WipesRaids?" If so, you should move a point from Shark Attack to Wild Hunt. Increasing your pets scaling is better than a straight 3% damage bonus. Heart of the Phoenix is for bad hunters or for very specific fights. Please put that talent into a dps one such as Rabid. Those pet changes ALONE will net you 339.49 dps.

I just thought to look at your MM build. The talents are fine, but your glyphs... you're gonna have to ditch 2 of them. As marks, Glyph of Serpent Sting is required. You'll find that Glyph of Steady Shot will beat Glyph of TSA or Chimera, whichever is left after you remove one for Glyph of Serpent Sting.

Those two glyphs are worth 50 dps more than Chimera + TSA glyphs.

This is kind of what we do. However....we bring in apps when we are short which does happen. What doesnt happen is bringing an app over a regular or a semi regular that is in guild.

i.e be patient.

Also do what elapsed said....be ONLINE during raid times whether you get an invite or not. I know a certain guild officer that is very annoyed when apps that they want to test out arent online during raid time....but that said...dont be an nuisance and bug peope for invites.

make sure to be in Dfrecruit at all times when you're on and make sure to be on during the 25 mans, thats when the raid leaders try to pull in people to try out, most of the times they'll pull people in during normal modes and see how you do.

Also make sure to have the guild addon pack loaded, at least Ora2 and Grid
