Raid Experience:

Well, all content up to Agalon in Ulduar. Some hardmodes but not many. TOC10-25 has been where I mostly tank. TOC/TOGC10 5/5 as tank and TOC25 5/5 as dps and have pugged my own TOC25 groups as tank due to a change in work schedule and was no longer able to raid with guilds (Tempest) raid times.

Well i havent been doing much this past week due to being hacked and lost everything I owned. I know have all my gear back and have been in /DFrecruit and was waiting on an officer to speak with me because that is what i was told to do. I heard DF just lost a tank. Just let me know. I'll contact an officer in-game this week. Hopefully they will talk with each other and not tell me to be online at a certain time and speak with an officer that is clueless about the whole thing.

I recently had a brief little chat with your previous GM. It seems as though you stopped raiding regularly with them, to the point that you were "demoted" to a non-raider status. Then, when you voiced interest in raiding with them again, they told you to re-apply to raider status - which, according to them, you did not do. Instead, it seems as though you've applied here.

My questions are as follows:

1) Would you do the same to us (that is, would you join the guild wanting to raid, then suddenly stop raiding and expect to come back to a raiding position after a good piece of time has passed)?

2) You state that you cannot raid during your old guild's raid times. Their raid times are essentially identical to ours. Why can't you make their raid times, but miraculously make ours?

To answer your first question, yes I had to stop raiding with them due to my work (an incoming call center) putting my whole department on a new schedule due to the demands of Verizon (in which the call center takes call for) and they never told us how long we would have this kind of schedule. In which I was unable to get out of work until 10pm Mon-Friday.(Tempest raids at that time ended at 10:30). I then told Namelessone what was going on and he told me to let him know when it chages (the new schedule lasted about two months). He then demoted me and told me to talk to him once i can start raiding again. To make it even worse they decided to shut down that whole department and laid us all off. In which is why I told Namelessone (GL of Tempest) I can start raiding with them again and he told me they dont need a dk atm. Maybe 30 mins later he said I could reapply if I wanted. Which is why I'm applying to Downfall to progress through content quicker with a much more organized and experienced guild rather than staying with Tempest.

Response to your responses:

1) Sounds to me like your guild had its raid requirements together honestly. You couldn't raid, so they replaced you; when you were able to raid, they couldn't just boot the guy that replaced you, so you had to "reapply" for your raid position. We do essentially the same thing.

This brings up another question: If you weren't given an immediate raid spot, or had to be replaced, would you simply apply to another guild?

Well, I have been thinking about leaving Tempest for some good time now. I just dont like quite a few people in the guild, didnt have fun raiding with them and we would always end up starting late because of people not showing up on time. Tempest just isnt as serious about raiding and which is why I am not reapplying and decided to apply here.

To answer your second question. Yes, I would be able to wait for a raid spot if there isnt an immediate raid spot open. I wont have another situation like this in a long time because i will be starting school soon and it wont affect the hours DF raids at all and nothing big coming up to make me miss raids any time soon.

1. I just don't like a few people in guild

Tempest has 225 memebers according to WoW armory. Downfall by comparison has 412 member according to WoW armory. Chances are you will most likely find people in downfall that you don't like. So if you gain a raid spot with us and then lose it should we expect you to leave us as well due to not liking guildies?

3. Always end up starting late because of people not showing up on time

This is something that happens occasionally with one of our raids. So again if we don't get started till 10 or 15 minutes late every night as well as point #1 should we be expecting you to pack up and ship out again to a new guild?

Also do you already know what your school schedule is so that you know you will continue to make raid times. Cause frankly it would suck to get you rather geared up in a month and a half or so and then lose you for 3-4 months due to school. And we do value School over Raiding in here but this is something to consider.

Well when I do start going to school my school schedule will be early mouring. I will start at around 8 in the mourning or so and the latest i will be in class would be 2 or 3. So i will be able to make raids every day if the week. Me not liking a couple people in the guild isnt the main reason I do not want to raid with Tempest any more. The main reason is them not being serious about raiding and was why most people were late. I dealt with it and raided with them for quite a few months and stopped raiding due to schedule change of work and do not fell like wasting time filling out a new app to start raiding with them when I do not enjoy raiding with them in the first place. I would like to join DF and see me staying with them a long time.
