Very disturbing information about Nickarito:

Derchlon — Fri, 01/01/2010 - 19:35

I have some very startling, very radical—some might say
xenophobic—insights into Nickarito's latest utterances. If you disagree
with my claim that Nickarito often uses the phrase, "Studies show
that...", to introduce statements that wind up being chiefly about
ideology, hunch, or preference, then read no further. If an attempt to
restructure the social, political, and economic relationships that
exist throughout our entire society isn't huffy, it certainly is
stuck-up. His victims have been speaking out for years. Unfortunately,
their voices have long been silenced by the roar and thunder of
Nickarito's acolytes, who loudly proclaim that Nickarito answers to no
one. Regardless of those judgmental proclamations, the truth is that we
should agree on definitions before saying anything further about his
superficial subliminal psywar campaigns. For starters, let's say that
"vandalism" is "that which makes Nickarito yearn to change the course
of history."

There may be absolutely nothing we can do to prevent Nickarito from
making good on his word to commit confrontational, in-your-face acts of
violence, intimidation, and incivility. When we compare this disturbing
conclusion to the comforting picture purveyed by his adherents, we
experience psychological stress or "cognitive dissonance". Our only
recourse is to provide you with a holistic and thematic history of
Nickarito's disagreeable, callous disquisitions. For brevity, I won't
comment further on that but rather on the way that his intent is to
prevent us from asking questions. Nickarito doesn't want the details
checked. He doesn't want anyone looking for any facts other than the
official facts he presents to us. I wonder if this is because most of
his "facts" are false.

Although the Gospel According to Nickarito says that favoritism
forms the core of any utopian society, I contend that one could
truthfully say that he keeps coming up with new ways to mock, ridicule,
deprecate, and objurgate people for their religious beliefs. But saying
that would miss the real point, which is that to get even the simplest
message into the consciousness of satanic vermin it has to be repeated
at least fifty times. Now, I don't want to insult your intelligence by
telling you the following fifty times, but he often argues that ebola,
AIDS, mad-cow disease, and the hantavirus were intentionally
bioengineered by mentally deficient tossers for the purpose of
population reduction. A similar argument was first made over 1200 years
ago by a well-known doomsday prophet and was quickly disproved. In
those days, however, no one would have doubted that Nickarito likes
challenging all I stand for. That's the most damnable thing about him.
It's also why my sources tell me that Nickarito intends to torment,
harry, and persecute anyone who crosses his path before you know it.
Not on my watch! I, not being one of the many raving stumblebums of
this world, am therefore calling upon all good citizens to resolve a
number of lingering problems. That's all I have time now to write. If
you want to get more insight into Nickarito's mentality, though, then
study the details of his theories. Try to see the big picture: It will
amaze you. It will take your breath away. And it will convince you that
we must get beyond name-calling.

My opinion of Derchlon

starstalker — Sat, 01/02/2010 - 08:28

May I be cynical for a bit? I hope you don't mind, but with
Derchlon's latest barrage of two-faced, devious animadversions, I can't
resist the urge to make a few cynical comments. The full truth of my
conclusion I shall develop in the course of this letter but the
conclusion's general outline is that we mustn't let Derchlon promote
racial superiority doctrines, ethnic persecution, imperialist
expansion, and genocide. That would be like letting the Mafia serve as
a new national police force in Italy.

Derchlon and I are as different as chalk and cheese. He, for
instance, wants to clear-cut ancient forest lands. I, on the other
hand, want to institute change. That's why I need to tell you that his
policy of forcing me to go into hiding must not go unchallenged. To
leave it unchallenged is to condone Derchlon's grandiose plans for
world hegemony, plans in which no one is free to say that the only way
for Derchlon to redeem himself is to stop being so uncompanionable.
That's self-evident, and even Derchlon would probably agree with me on
that. Even so, if he thinks that he can make me endure his despotic
tyranny in all its plenitude then he's barking up the wrong tree.

Derchlon can write anything he wants about how things would be
different were we to give into his demands and let him drag everything
that is truly great into the gutter, but prudence is no vice.
Cowardice—especially his appalling form of it—is. I will stop at
nothing to fight him hammer and tong. My resolve cannot fully be
articulated, but it is unyielding. As evidence, consider that I wonder
if Derchlon really believes the things he says. He knows they're not
true, doesn't he? That's the question that perplexes me the most
because Derchlon contends that we can change the truth if we don't like
it the way it is. Excuse me, but where exactly did this little factoid
come from?

Anyone who takes even a cursory glance at this letter will quickly
discover that Derchlon recently stated that it is his moral imperative
to perpetrate acts of the most insidious character. He said that with a
straight face, without even cracking a smile or suppressing a giggle.
He said it as if he meant it. That's scary because the one thing that's
central to all of his untrustworthy insinuations is a desire to render
unspeakable and unthinkable whole categories of beliefs about power. I
call this the New Metagrobolism. The old metagrobolism was concerned
only with causing riots in the streets. Although that was bad enough,
Derchlon indeed believes that the majority of adversarial, impertinent
apostates are heroes, if not saints. Unfortunately for him, that's all
in his imagination. Derchlon needs to get out of that fictional world
and get back to reality, where people can see that if society were a
beer bottle—something, I believe, that Derchlon holds in high regard—he
would indeed be the nauseating bit at the bottom that only the homeless
like to drink.

I am certain that if I asked the next person I meet if he would want
Derchlon to subordinate principles of fairness to less admirable
criteria, he would say no. Yet we all stand idly by while Derchlon
claims that Pyrrhonism is a wonderful thing. The point is that most
people aren't willing to swallow what he's serving up: a triple scoop
of supercilious sprinkled with supercilious and topped off with warm
supercilious sauce. He occasionally shows what appears to be warmth,
joy, love, or compassion. You should realize, however, that these
positive expressions are more feigned than experienced and invariably
serve an ulterior motive, such as to preach a propaganda of hate. Summa
summarum, whenever Derchlon wants to appear impressive and moral, he
makes aggrandized declarations about how loyal he is.

Good sir thank you for bringing this all to our immediate attentions. The likes of this troglodyte should well be kept out of our society, nay all societies where social inhibitions remain intact. However I find parts of your argument quite incredulous.

"I wonder if this is because most of his "facts" are false."

You have no facts yourself to back this statement up. Nor at least the simulacrum of one. You yourself are the originator of many ordure type epigrams and other drollery that goes on in these hallowed halls. However I will not delve into the specifics further as I grow weary and must prostrate soon as I have to moil tomorrow in an edifice I do not wish to make the peregrination to.

on that note good sir bon nuit.

Shihli — Thu, 12/31/2009 - 00:22

I agree with Nick's sentiment about taking Nick back.

For what it's worth -

He left with no drama, to play with friends as his raiding time diminished to the point that he could no longer raid.

He stayed active on the site, stayed in the dfrecruit channel, has helped us out on nights when our regular raid healers could not attend, and has been a more active member of our community in-game than many other people have that are in guild now.

Barring anything unusual from Garreth, Saedo, et al - I'd say he's back in.

let's face facts

poisondonut — Fri, 01/01/2010 - 19:05

nickarito is a complete lunatic that nerd rages constantly and he is more emo than onrique and i think overall this is the perfect reason he should be back in downfall. welcome baaack! hopefully. P.S. only YOU can prevent dick in a box.
