Raid Experience:

I started playing 1/1/06. I didn't experience any pre-bc raids. In BC, the guild I was in really had a problem getting going after Karazhan. We had some flaky people. We downed Gruul's and had it on farm. We attempted SSC for 3 weeks, then some of our rotten apples got everybody in an uproar and we lost a lot of key people. We then waited out the time for Lich King.

In Lich King, we downed all new content up to ToC 25. We dabbled in 25 TogC, but our guild started having attendence issues and our officers decided to call it quits. I was able to complete 4/5 10 TogC and was able to get Anub to 2% in there. I have only been in ICC 10 man up to 2nd boss.

Personal
What timezone are you in?:
California
Tell us a little about yourself.:
I love this game. I always say I am not addicted, but lets face it, Yes I am. I have a wonderful wife, who lets me play 3-4 nights a week without a problem, as long as I give her some me time as well. I love sports. I am a baseball, football, and hockey guy. I work for a living 50 hours a week, but make me time as much as possible.

Updated website status.

Although it already sounds

Scaron — Tue, 01/05/2010 - 08:50

Although it already sounds like you're moving along in your app nicely, I thought I'd add some positive feedback, as well.

I played with Constantinne last night. It's impossible to tell the quality of a player's skill whilst rep farming (or at least it was on this run), but he had a good attitude (despite it being a rough set of runs) seemed to know how warlocking was supposed to go.

Is geared well enough to hop into ICC runs, is gemmed appropriately and is enchanted appropriately. Spec is correct. I like him.

Race change to gnome ('cuz you can't have enough gnomish warlocks) and I vote yes. ;p

I would love to be gnome

Constantinne — Tue, 01/05/2010 - 17:49

I would love to go gnome!!!! But a close RL friend of mine (Onrique) told me to go human for the racials...tho I agree on the racials, I hate the look of humans!!!!
And thank you as well for the nice comments!

Hello sir or madam, and

Aidin — Mon, 01/04/2010 - 19:46

Hello sir or madam, and welcome to the Dowfall recruitment process.
If you fancy a quick invite, have thin skin, or like purps over people
then don't waste your time reading what follows, just press on now.  If
you are a skilled player, or even a player in need of a little molding,
and you have time to dedicate to dead bosses, and to a community of
people that do more together then play a video game, then here's a few
things for you.

Recruitment Process

Step 1 Application :
Well you've already completed this step by taking the time to complete
our lengthy application.  Some think it's silly, we have documented
proof that it easily weeds out the douchebags before wasting too much
of our time.

Step 2 Who are you? :
Type /join dfrecruit
in game.  This will put you in our global chat channel for recruits.
You'll find lots of Downfall members in that channel often shouting for
people for random heroics.  This will get you're name out there, let
people get to know you.  The more people you get to know, the more
people will begin to comment on your application, and thus keep it
"alive"

Until you start to get comments from those who excel in
your class, or those who have nice/not so nice things to say about you
as they get to know you, it's up to YOU to keep you're
application active, it's not just a matter of posting and never coming
back, we are website oriented, get used to using it.

Step 3 Be There :
Be online during raid times, its even better if you're on from start to
finish, since people will DC mid-raid.  If you're apping to raid, it's
a long and grueling process.  We DO need consistent skilled players for
both 25 man raids, and you're not the only person trying to get that
spot.  What we like to see is our apps posting on the raid events that
they are available to fill in on a given night.  Then if you've posted
that you're going to be on that night, make sure to shout our a
reminder in dfrecruit just as raid is about to start just to let us
know you're on. It may be weeks, it may be months before you see
action, but you may end up with a spot the first time you join the
recruit channel.

All questions regarding raid invite status for Kitten Brigade should be directed to Zariyah in game. (alt Sainttaryn)

Salmon inquiries should be made to Ataraxia.

Please do not bother the other raid leaders, they have lots to do.

Well that's what you can expect for the next few weeks/months.
We've had applicants that have waited over 3 months for an invite,
we've invited people within a few days, every situation is different.
So get you're name out there, get some comments, and good luck to you!

I have a question. As a

saedo — Sun, 01/03/2010 - 17:28

I have a question.

As a warlock, do you play hockey every Wednesday night?

Constantinne's picture

Hockey

Constantinne — Mon, 01/04/2010 - 09:03

As much as I would like to say yes to that, my 33 year old body couldnt take the punishment  from hockey again. In fact, the reason my Wednesday's are going to open up is that I hurt my fragile old body diving trying to make a catch in beer league softball...Thats right, broke my shoulder playing softball...That was 15 weeks ago, I started playing again, but it is still messed up. I probably need minor surgery to it, I'll find out Wednesday.

Gotta love my competetive spirit, I guess....LOL

Re: Constantinne

Shihli — Sun, 01/03/2010 - 16:43

Did a few 5mans earlier today with you.  You're off to a good start - at the very least you demonstrated that you can move out of fires.  You're open to criticism and are actively trying to improve your play and your toons.

Barring anything unusual coming up in the next few days I'd say you're a shoo-in for a guild invite.  Just going to make sure the other officers are on board with that first.

Constantinne's picture

Looking forward to it

Constantinne — Mon, 01/04/2010 - 09:14

Thanks, Shihli. I am looking forward to hopefully joining you soon. I reviewed some specs of others, and actually respecced into one of them trying it. I found that the spec I am currently running, which is a cookie cutter spec,  is maximizing my DPS while still adding replinishment to the group. The shdowbolt spec I tried actually lowered my DPS by 300 and I lost replinishment, so I made some small adjustments to my current spec. That seemed to have helped. That being said, if there is a spec you need me to run, affliction, demo, whatever, let me know. My feeling is that I will do whatever the raid and guild needs. I am not a Recount watcher. Though I like to perform, if I am asked to take a lower DPS spec to benefit the DPS of everyone else in the raid, I will do it. If I am asked to drop ice on Anub, no problem.

My Pali you ran with also got respecced. After looking into it, I did see some areas that were lacking with all the recent game changes, ie the 20% dodge loss in ICC. But, I have somewhat made my pali a holy pali for the most part. I love doing both, though, and if invited, Jyrintha would be made available to the guild as a tank or healer if needed.

Again, thank you for the consideration. I look forward to hearing from you.

Sounds like a very solid

Shihli — Sun, 01/03/2010 - 00:07

Sounds like a very solid application, and we do need warlocks.  I'll talk with Onrique and see what I can find out about you second-hand (personality, etc - no "dirt").

If you can, please make an alt on Gorgonnash and join our dfrecruit channel (type /join dfrecruit) to chat with us from time to time.

Based on what I see here though, I would have no reservations about fast-tracking you into guild.

Edit:  Adjusted post, thanks Elapsed.

he means /join dfrecruit

Elapsed — Sun, 01/03/2010 - 00:20

he means /join dfrecruit   was just a slip-up. If you joined that channel you'd most likely be all alone talking to a void.

lol

Great player, but more

Onrique — Sat, 01/02/2010 - 23:29

Great player, but more importantly, a great person and friend to me. Based on my WoW expiriences with him, he fits into a community atmosphere extremely well and "plays well with others."

For personal reasons, i would love to see him in-guild because he is a good friend and, like me before i decided to reroll and try to join downfall, he deserves a good home. I would very much like the opportunity to raid with him again.

For raid reasons, he is a warlock that can play consistently well and would fill the needed warlock gap in kitten brigade. His raiding attitude and outlook is strong. as well as his desire to progress at a high level.

Thank you for the nice comments guys!
