garreth — Fri, 02/29/2008 - 00:57You're all earning your turns in end game, and we're all proud of you. I was able to watch a lot of the pulls from Dufe's screen, so here's some tips:
Healers: You guys have to be MUCH more on the ball. I was watching people dying from accruing lightening bolt damage. In other words, the only people that should die on Vashj are the ones that go POOF and get one shot. Peopel shouldn't be whittled down my small damage over time. Healers, you have to move as much or more than any other role in this fight. It's fun as hell, but frantic as hell also. Healers on the sides, move to the center if your side dps is ok and give some love to the ranged.
Ranged dps up top: Watch your environment better. Saw some people running through cleaves.
Keep it up, you guys can do this. I know you guys only run 3 nights a week, but, honestly, I say you fire up a raid on sunday to get this bitch down. It's time to kill her and you're all good enough. I'll try to be on to help where I can on Saturday :)

T5 instancing is no joke, but once you've downed Vashj and Kael you're going to be SOOO better off. Keep at it.

Casters: Bring lots of mana
Dufe — Thu, 02/28/2008 - 12:49Casters: Bring lots of mana pots. Last night I heard a healer complaining before a fight about the potential for going oom, then about 5-6 minutes into the fight I hear this same healer saying, "Healers, now would be a good time to pop that first pot." If I had the luxury of waiting that long to start chain popping mana pots I don't think I'd be complaining about going oom. With most of our fights going ~1 minute longer than usual last night, I had mana issues even though I started chain potting/gemming within the first 30-50 sec.
The moral of the story: If you're not blowing 3-5 mana pots on every fight, you shouldn't be complaining about going oom.
