Disrupter — Mon, 03/15/2010 - 13:03I definitely enjoyed learning these fights with you guys from a different perspective and environment. It was alot of fun being more than just a dps bot for some of the fights. Tanking the Princes was actually alot of fun, it just seemed a little easy. I had alot of fun with the Lich King fight, popping CD's at certain times barely killing the Valkyrs, blinking the defiles out of the raid, rocket booting/blinking across the map to kill the other Valkyr and , the best part, playing suicidal mage with the spirts between nova/slow/cone of cold.
Oh that and Pudo was there. I lub Pudo <3.

Combined between two characters I have over 20 hours of wiping and learnign this fight so the last pull of the night kill made it all the better.

Aeolyn — Mon, 03/15/2010 - 09:32I don't like to talk about myself much so I wasn't going to say anything but I want to sincerely thank the EXR crew for asking me to join them, being so focused, and willing to listen to my strat adjustments, terrible puns, or whatever on Vent despite me being the new guy.
Downing Arthas pleases me perhaps more than it did anyone else in the group. Last October I found out I had a life-threatening infection that I won't bore anyone with the details with. The short version is that my blood was trying to kill me and it would eventually succeed without quick and serious treatment that I couldn't afford. And while my health diminished I half-jokingly vowed to my friends to down Arthas and wrap up the Wrath of the Lich King storyline before I myself expired.
A month of being on the health roller coaster, taking meds, a lot of scrounging for money, and one surgery later I found myself raiding ToC25 from my hospital bed. Because I'm a CRAZY person. Actually it was more that I was in a lot of pain and apparently trying to do my shot rotation correctly helps distract me from that.
Flash forward a tiny bit and I recover and then end up with <Downfall> under my name. Running Ulduar one night because not enough DPS showed up. Ended up in KB from there. Grasen asked me to join EXR. And now I have fulfilled my vow of seeing Arthas dead. I'm really quite pleased.
I'm glad I met you guys. I'm glad I'm here. I'm glad I'm alive. And I look forward to pushing through as much of heroic mode as we can together. Really sappy and all. But I had to share. See you guys in Icecrown!
