(edit) I know you will all hate me for this, but I find the xperl unit frames more appealing than any of the other mods i have looked at and it has never given me a problem. So I think I will keep xperl. but the second pet bar has got to go.

Shihli — Sun, 06/20/2010 - 02:03Generally speaking, X-Perl is a memory and resource hog. Although you can enable and disable various bits of the overall mod, it still uses (or at least used, when I was last playing) its own library, making it heavier than most Ace library-based mods.
I know some other popular unit frames have been Pitbull and ag_unitframes. I think another one is called Shadowed, or something similar. However, this all might have changed since I last played in April.

And for xperl i only have the player, target, and targets target activated so there isnt much of the addon actually working.
I'll look into the other unit frame mods and update the pic. Thanks guys!

What's the addon that puts leaves around and gathers your pet-related info together?

Shihli — Sun, 06/20/2010 - 16:57That's the thing, though - you may not have many modules of xperl running, but you've still got its entire library loaded whether you want it or not. And that's on top of any and all Ace libraries you have running.
Using Pitbull (from my experience) means you're only using one set of libraries for your addons. More lightweight.

But sorry keisj i didnt actually answer your question. I have two pet bars because the bartender one (above my bars) fucks up rather frequently and I actually dont remember what addon the other pet bar (by my portrait) is. I'll look into that right now.
(edit) I'm messing with pitbull and I can't seem to find an option that lets me put a portrait of my target next to my targets bar. Is that just pitbull or am I just dumb? I wont be offended if you think I'm dumb fyi.
