With Cata looming it;s time to start thinging about rated bg team. I plan to head one of these up and will set a schedule once main raid schedules are set, I will work around the 25 man raid times. In cata the focus will be off arenas and on rated bg's
We will run 1-2 nights a week (MINIMUM) and will run on a scheduled time just like a raid.
What I need from yall is to know who wants in on this team. It will likely be a 15 man team,
So Those of yall who want in, post which char you want to bring to this team, as well as spec.
People interested (this is a list to help me keep track not a list of who is on the teamm I fully expect to have more than I can take, if we have enough we can easially form a second team for those who cant do the schedule as well as those who just unfortunetally get left off my team. I will chose a leader from this list for a second team.)

My favourite pvp moment was
cromi — Wed, 12/08/2010 - 15:34My favourite pvp moment was when I was on my hunter. Just hit 80 and had a new weapon (that I totally ninjad during a pos doing a great 1.5k dps) And we lost a tower. Because the affliction lock, and feral druid around me didn't understand how to heal a hunter doing close quarter combat. So I called them all dumbasses, And started making sure to tell everyone how the hell they were supposed to play an av. Seriously, one of our towers>holding their 4 and ibgy/relief hut any day, the dumbasses. They told me to stop my QQ, and I told those dumbasses to stfu and rush drek. Then I was reported. So I left them to go play some xbox live. You know. .2 kill to death ratio.
"If I told you how to play your class, I'd look like a dick?" I believe that is somewhat close to the wording used during that conversation. And it was quite an interesting conversation.
It would be nice to have a douche test on this. PVP is a good way to test a persons patience. Especially if your pugging.
Massive AV Upset
Rescue Toaster — Wed, 12/08/2010 - 12:36Not to turn this into a "my favorite pvp moment thread" but I just have to say the time when Grasen and I came into losing AV and got pushed back to our bridge (the 5-boxing ele shaman was instrumental) and we setup on the ledge of the North Bunker and suffocated the Horde advance to overcome a major point defecit. Grasen has a pick somewhere showing the absurd number of kills he got.

I was in Isle of Conquest earlier this week, and I came in late. The horde had taken the workshop, and they were mindlessly battering our west gate, with no alliance defense to stop them. We already had the Hanger, and we had just assaulted the Docks when I entered. The horde still had the workshop and both the refinery and the quarry. Like I normally do, the first thing I do after leavin the alliance keep is to cap the quarry. While capping the quarry, the rest of the alliance team assaulted the workshop, and secured the docks. I had just capped the quarry, when a warrior showed up. I beat him 1v1 and I still had full health left (40k health warrior, and I had my spirit beast). The horde had 30 reinforcements left, and a rogue and feral druid finally took me out and took the quarry. Meanwhile, we capped the refinery. I spawned and got a DK that spawned with me to help at Quarry. We get there, and the rogue and druid chase me (hunters are the first target in pvp, in most situations). I kited them perfectly while the DK finished them off, and I got the flag just in time to cap it for the [Mine] achievement.
I never thought I would get that one, but there it is. Not my all time favorite pvp moment, but my favorite for this week.

FireWire — Wed, 12/08/2010 - 08:14I haven't done much pvp as ret, but mainly was holy when I had done PvP. The most memorable moment for me was probably in AB when I outhealed 5 people(I do admit they were pretty bad and were probably not trying too hard) with another healer and let out team cap all 5 points by having a 8v5 for the most part. Needless to say we dominated but overall was probably the most memorable match I have had. For the best match, I always did good with lilpuddin when I pocket healed him.

Getting a good discussion on Theorycrafting is both good to extract knowledge and also to gage reaction should they be called out on something....

More info will come over the next few days but I will assemble team on the 11th or so. Signups will remain open till the 11th. We have enough here so dont let the size of the list deter you from signing up. We should easialy be able to field 2 teams.
