So, in ZA last night I got one of the few remaining pieces of gear on my wish list out of things that aren't BT. Ancient Aqir artifact is gonna fit nicely into my mitigation/boss tanking set. :) So, that kind of leaves me at an impasse with what I'm going to do with pudo.  Do I continue hoarding badges in anticipation of sunwell? Do I pimp pudo out to nightly SH lps runs? or do I start a new project? I've been slowly gearing my priest for healing (healing non heroics is wicked easy) and have picked up enough to start healing heroics/kara with a piece or two more.  while I like the idea of pimping pudo out, the last few SH runs I've been on have actually LOST me money, as well as an embarassing finish that missed the timed event.  right now i have enough gold on all my chars to sustain myself through a raiding heavy repair bill month without doing dailies...barely and dailies for me right now aren't worth their gold as I'm not able to pay attn enough to finish them in a timely manner. 

So instead of any of these, I'm leveling another alt.  A traitor alt.  I rolled a belf pally on an oceanic server to bother a few of my aussie friends when no one else on gorg is awake, and have decided that I like the idea of leveling up brand new.  it brings me back to the time when I first opened up my copy of world of warcraft and raptly read the character screen, deciding which  class/race would be the "coolest" to play.  Not the most useful, or one that could fill a given job, just what i thought would be most fun.  It's also kind of embarassing when people ask me about "paladin leveling" when I only leveled pudo from 61-70.  In case some of you don't know, Pudolski predates Epatrick on Gorgonnash by a good week or two, as my brother was around lvl 30 when I began playing.  I actually started out as an undead warlock on Arthas, but apparently horde and alliance can't talk to each other, so my brother dragged me onto gorg and the rest is wow history.  

My notes on leveling new on a server as horde:

1. I miss bags, you know, the ones you make/buy for your alt so you can stuff more shit into them to sell.

2. getting to the next level actually requires you to pick and choose which talents you "need" as you don't have that nice stash of starter gold for spells/skills blah blah blah

 3. I never bought my alts actual leveling gear, so I'm pretty used to chillin' in questing greens so that's not really an issue.

4. I get lost all the goddamn time, which zeppelin do i take, or "wind rider" do I go to?

5. Gathering quests for that one instance run ... I don't even know if horde have more than one SM quest.

6. Alliance are ganking assholes ( you know who you are you STV campers)

7. desolace is SOOO Much easier with two quest checkpoints

8. Belf mana tap is an excellent source of residual mana in panic situations when paired with arcane torrent.

9. I actually win at BG's sometimes (this is a new and bewildering occurrence for me, as I avoid BG's on gorg like the plague because all my toons are raid spec'd pve geared and have no resilience)...people also say Thank you when i put on a shield and mace and heal them.  INTERESTING.

10. There's no one I can bother for a "can you run me through blah blah for [awesome item of awesomeness i'll replace in three levels]"

11. I get to kill alliance...I GET TO KILL ALLIANCE WHO TAKE MY GODDAMN MINING NODES.

12. I may spend too much time /dancing as an experiment to see how much of a crowd i gather when i go afk in a city for a few mins...last time I had four undead rogues, a cow warrior and two troll mages chilling around me.

13. I can't understand singaporians. wtf is liao, leh and la?  also gchat isn't very much fun with no one making poop jokes or going emo (all they ever do is talk about whether their stats are "kara ready, or Gruul ready") it's almost like they have a set amount of +heal or +dmg or stam required to be allowed in, no emphasis on skill at all. also the g ranks aren't amusing, they're just indicative of what their status is. I'm a "casual" so I guess I'm on "asshat" level.  There's also "trial" for those that are 70 apping for a raid spot, "raider" for those raiding and "class leader" for, I guess, guild officers.

14. It's very odd not getting a tell every few mins to tank something, or asking where we're going tonight, or shooting the shit in the lock channel while looking for herbs.

15. Retribution is the SHIT when you find an awesome Blue axe  while questing and start autoattack criting for 300 at 35.

16. I can't wait to get to areas where questing is shared (like gadget) also, NOGGENFROGGER!!!!!

17. Horde quests are very entertaining for me.  Instead of "these evildoers are threatening yon hillock of pasture, go forth, do battle and rid of us these nefarious orges" it's "go out, get these reagents, then when you get back, I'll make it into a plague and you'll go test it out on stanley the dog near that farm" or "this prisoner isn't talking, kill him, turn him into a zombie and we'll get the information that way" Rofl. 

18. actually paying attn to the warbringer daily nets me a small amount of silver and the equivalent of an orange quest in exp. because while it may take a time or two, if my server is in the minority, horde usually win WSG and AB. 

To any of you that may be thinking certain things; no, I'm not leaving you all for my new toy. it's just a new aspect of the game I wish to experience, although I may transfer my little paladin over to a US server at seventy in Rampage just so every now and then you might see a belf pally and do a double take when you recognize the name of the person who just HoJ'd your ass and bopped the mage you were trying to kill. :)  I may spend most of my free time on my belf pally for the next few weeks as I bother jasmynn, jester and sothere, but I'll always be in vent in my channel and all you have to do is come in and ask me if you need help, or just wanna talk. I usually put up "traitor" as my vent comment if I'm horde-ing it up.
