oRA2
Pettingzoo — Wed, 03/05/2008 - 19:37
Okay, i'm having a weird problem. No one can add me to MT windows. I have uninstalled and reinstalled oRA2, disabled and enabled, nothing can seem to fix it. Any thoughts?

Pettingzoo — Thu, 04/17/2008 - 14:51So, I researched this long and hard today and finally found an answer.
Anyone who's character names start with "Pet", "Party", or "Raid" cannot be added to MT windows/cannot be seen on the cooldown monitor.
I should have made my name "feral" when i transfered =(

Dufe — Thu, 03/06/2008 - 10:43Just did a test by making a char on my brother's account with a 10char name and adding him to the MT windows . . . worked fine. I'll update my Ora2 anyway and try to catch petting online today for a test.
I updated my mods right
Atar — Thu, 03/06/2008 - 10:40I updated my mods right before raid yesterday. So I don't think it's because of that. I might try getting you into raid a little earlier Pett and see if we can't fix it.
Your name has exactly 10
garreth — Thu, 03/06/2008 - 10:23Your name has exactly 10 letters - pretty close to the Blizzard maximum character count for names.
I'm thinking that an update in ORA2 over the last week may have truncated that string value, thuse breaking your ability to be added to ora2 mt lists. This is on the side the leaders and assists, not on your side, PZ.
Let's all get more updates and see if it's fixed soon.
The last time i was able to
Pettingzoo — Thu, 03/06/2008 - 09:57The last time i was able to be added to windows was Wednesday of last week, before the raid even began. It automatically added me to MT windows, for whatever reason, so someone dropped me from them. Ever since then, I can't be added. I have no idea why it won't work >.<
Yeah, I tried everything to
Atar — Thu, 03/06/2008 - 08:40Yeah, I tried everything to get him up there. I can't think of why it wouldn't work. Here's what gets me. I don't think Pettingzoo's Ora2 has anything to do with it. I mean I can add people up there even if they don't have it, right? It's got to be a bug or something with his name, or something. It's really weird though.
Garreth it was Atar, Grasen
Aidin — Thu, 03/06/2008 - 08:17Garreth it was Atar, Grasen and me who tried to add him. I assure you we had Leader and Assists, and we know what we're doing. :) Something is really wrong with Petting in Ora.
Can't click to add, can't type in to add. Nada. I am unsure if the problem existed prior to last night's TK run. And no refresh didn't help.
Make sure the people adding
garreth — Thu, 03/06/2008 - 00:17Make sure the people adding you have raid assistant privvies. They select you, then just click an empty slot on the MT list.
When/where did this happen? Have them refresh MT windows as well.
