Mother Shahraz Resist Gear Push

UPDATE 2/22: FIRST PULL SHAHRAZ CHECK LIST, SIGN UP NOW: /node/795
Like Princess Huhuran, and Ragnaros before her, the Downfall raids have a big gear check ahead of them in Mother Shahraz. Currently, Raid: Hamfist is knocking on her doorstep, and all we need are raw materials to make this happen. Every single raider that faces Shahraz will need 295 Shadow resist unbuffed. That's a lot. But have no fear, our eggheads have been doing some math. (Click the title to read more!)
Saedo made some calculations and determined a quick and dirty way to hit our base shadow resist as efficiently as possible.
It looks something like this:
Mother Shahraz shots.
Every single one of our raiders needs 275-295 unbuffed shadow resistance. If even a few raiders show up without this amount, raid will be called off. You've known about this for two months, there is no excuse to not have your gear made.
Please reply here with your expected resist value so we can make a list:
- Garreth - 294
- Saedo - 295
- Starstalker - 278
- Diky - 290
- Mnor - 242
- Vulk - 298
- Tankard - 293
- Vossa - 294
- Nuitarin - 294
- Luminaire - 295
- Shinzwei- 277
- Katibug - 294
- Antiquite - 260
- Nettibeb - 283
- Turth - 260
The rarest drop off of Illidan isn't Warglaives
garreth — Thu, 02/21/2008 - 15:25
That's right, the rarest drop off of Illidan neither [Warglaive of Azzinoth]. Nope, 462 of the main hand and 444 of the off have been seen as of February 21st.
The rarest isn't the dps warrior chest, or the stupid dagger that procs a CC breaker.
It's the moonkin chest: [Thunderheart Vest] only 49 ever seen. Poor boomkins.
I will be farming bog lords in SW Zangarmarsh for [Primal Life] and then probably pop up to Manaforge Ultris in Netherstorm to farm [Primal Shadow] off of the voids there.
