I set this event up because Torvo isn't going to be here this week.  I might end up leading the raid, not sure yet as I'm currently job hunting for the summer and could possibly be working.

Be on vent. If you miss something because you weren't, that was your fault for not paying attention, not ours for not catering to your strange need to not use every tool available to you.

Two important changes from last week that will continue through this week:

1. As we've geared up and become a more consistent group from week to week, the number of pieces that many of us need out of Naxx is slipping to a small pool of the most valuable gear in the instance. While our "main spec first, off spec second" roll system works well when the loot is plentiful and everyone's getting upgrades, it's not a good system for distributing highly sought after loot - nor does it guarantee that best loot will find its way back into our raid the following week.

With that in mind, and what I hope will prevent us from seeing future QQs over loot, beginning this week we're going to be using Downfall's officially sponsored FRP - Furious Raid Points. Details here. Both Salmon and Kitten use this and love it, and now we in EP1 will as well.

2. It's add on week. Install these before the raid - I'll know who doesn't have them if you think you're exempt. You're not. They'll make you a better raider and make me a better raid leader - it's what I call win-win.

• Big Wigs (Several of you like Deadly Boss Mods... Downfall prefers Big Wigs because it's lower overhead - it doesn't use as much of your system resources. Since we have problems week-in-week-out with slow response times on everything from Thaddius' polarity shift and Heigan's dance floor to friggin frogger, I'm asking you all to trust me and use the less-system-intensive Big Wigs this week. We'll see if it makes a difference.)

For all the Raid: AFKers I don't know who is available tonight but I am going to try and get us into Naxx and just get us some badges and or gear.  I am not shooting for a full clear necessarily but just get as much done as possible to make up for Friday's cancel.  Please post if you are already locked.

You know it, you love it. Naxx25!!1 is Downfall's weekend 25 man raid. We're close to having Naxx on farm, and - dare I say it - have our sights on Ulduar!!1 by the end of May! zOMGWTFBBQNINJATURTLES!!1 I'm going to be looking for dedicated raiders who can pull their weight between now and then. That means performing to your gear level, showing up weekly, and not being a dick in raid.

Anyone can sign up for EP1. Alts, fam aggros, guild apps, main toons... We're about having fun in the content. Many of us have the loot on farm at this point, so if you're coming to level up your gear that's cool... Just remember who helped you get it down the road!

Show up if you sign up, and be on time. If there's one thing I hate, it's having to pause during a raid to find replacements. And with several of our core raiders on a hard stop at 5 for Ulduar 10, we are on a bit of an enrage timer (so to speak). So don't get yourself locked for half the instance, and don't screw us over... It's a win-win for you to stay until we clear.

Invites at 11:30 PROMPT to start clearing trash at Noon. That gives us 5 hours for a full clear, which is more than enough time.
