I can't make that raid due to my work schedule, at least not most of it. I get off at 3 server on Sundays.

About how long is this process? Haven't heard anything and some people who apped after me have been decided on. Just curious if there are every any trial runs or anything where you actually evaluate, and if so if I'll ever see one. Mainly just updating my threat somewhat... I'm not exactly sure what I'm supposed to do after apping really. I've sat in dfrecruit but there's hardly ever anything going on. Just kind of been waiting for any kind of anything really lol.

If he's truly become far more consistant, reliable, and daresay "less likely to up and quit/leave guild for the umpteenth time" then I invite Comment to state as much.

Everyone here (myself included) can vouch for his skill and his, well, likeability.  He's got a lot of friends in Downfall, and no one's denying or trying to defeat that fact.  Problem is, when you've been in guild no fewer than on four separate occasions (once pre-BC, once at the tail end of BC, once while playing Kognus' toon, and once while on Vroomlos pre-name change) and have shown seemingly no interest in actually being IN the guild, it's a hard sell.

I can understand this view of the situation because Daniel's various characters have been in and out of guild a number of times. Here's the timeline (as I remember it) though:

1) Mendaren joins <Downfall> back in pre-BC during its early stages after <the forsaken order> gets disbanded. CURRENT G-QUIT COUNT: 0

2) After leveling to 70 in <Downfall> Mendaren takes a break from the game. He comes back to find that he is in <Less QQ More PewPew> because his real life friend Captnopants (who had his account info at the time) moved him there while he was taking his break. <Downfall> basically isn't talking to the people who left guild to join <Less QQ More PewPew>, but Daniel was never actually a part of the exodus. CURRENT G-QUIT COUNT: 0

3) Mendaren joins <Oblivion> with the rest of <Less QQ More PewPew>. CURRENT G-QUIT COUNT: 0

4) Unable to raid because of scheduling conflicts Mendaren decides he is unhappy in <Oblivion> and leaves to play in various small PvP guilds. CURRENT G-QUIT COUNT: 0

5) Mendaren rejoins <Downfall> in late in BC (early-Sunwell progression, if I recall correctly) and raids with the guild for most of the rest of the expansion. CURRENT G-QUIT COUNT: 0

6) In Wrath Daniel switches to my character while I'm taking a break from the game. He plays it for about five months before my return and then a bit here and there after that (though he has not played it for quite some time now as far as I know). Mendaren is g-kicked for inactivity while he is playing my paladin. Daniel doesn't remember the user name and password for the account Menaren is on so he can't get back in. CURRENT G-QUIT COUNT: 0

7) Daniel now owns Darkspeed's account. After a month or so of being unable to raid with Vroomlos (Darkspeed's old paladin, now renamed Comment) due primarily to scheduling issues he leaves the guild to join a PvP guild on his paladin and his other characters are kicked from <Downfall>. As I understand it he did this because the people in that other guild were the ones that he was spending a lot of his time in guild with. This is the FIRST time he has ever actually quit the guild. CURRENT G-QUIT COUNT: 1

So to this point Daniel has actually only quit the guild once on one of his characters and (in my opinion) that was for understandable reasons. That hardly sounds like a person with a desire to turn the guild and its raids into a revolving door.

At the end of the day I know that I don't get a lot of say in matters like this, but these are the facts and if they aren't good enough for you then, well, I guess that's all there is to it.
