Like Scaron said Coreyp bowed out when the expectations of our guild couldn't be fulfilled on his part. He's also very willing to help people learn how to be a good shadow priest and that's always a plus in my book.

Regarding the commitment question, I have this to say:

Many of us remember what happened last time, and to Coreyp's credit, he was forthright and understanding about not joining the guild knowing our expectations for membership when it appeared that he wouldn't be able to do the things he wanted to do with his friends.

Knowing our expectations, he has applied again and wants to be a part of our community. Never, as far as I know, have there been really substantive questions about his chops as a player, or even in terms of his personality. Commitment to friends should be seen as a positive, not a negative, IMO.

All that said, Coreyp gets my vote, hands down.

I remember Coryp.... Raided with him in Salmon from time to time.....

Good guy ..... I did raise the issue of commitment back then because he had stated he was commited to his friends in another guild as well as to Salmon..... It appears that has worked itself out so he has my vote as well ...

Great Shadow Priest Generally a good person to have around and I think would be a good addition to the Downfall community

Can't say I recall him in Salmon but I joined the band late so...

But as to him, he represents himself very well. Holds himself to high standards and performs very well.

Would be a great addition to Drama Bomb and all of Downfall!

Been with them for years know many of them in RL and if I have to choose one I can't really say that I'd leave them for you guys. an exerp from the very long posts in his app. I am intrested myself to know how this has changed? I recall being on the apps quite a bit back then and seeing yours spammed with posts in a similar way an accepted person is. You understood the process very well back then and seemed to mesh very well with the community.

Also since you showed such detication to your friends and guild before, can we expect a similar showing?

A lot of them quit the game, or have really cut back play time and are no longer raiding. We kind of all agreed to find new homes and keep our alts together in a guild so we could hang on occasion. And yes absolutely, I place my friends and my commitment I make to them, such as showing up to raids when I say I am going to and being as prepared as I can be, very high on my priority list. While I do want to progress, I do not leave my friends behind just to kill more internet dragons.

Corey and I talk often. I think he's a good guy. He's able to play his class really well and his raid awareness isn't bad. During the days of the Salmon Corey raided with us a few times and did great.

He has my vote.

corey was there at the start of drama bomb and wow'd me then, and has wow'd me the few other times he's been in our raid. his knowledge and attitude define him from a lot of other raiders. always comes prepared and puts out great numbers. he's an exceptional shadow priest. i'd love to see him around guild ^_^

Yea coreyp seems to be a good player.... i mean he was there at start of drama bomb AND during our cho'gall kill...... not to mention we could really use another guild member for our 10 man group. No guild run..... no guild achievement.... sad bewilderment. =/
