Which addons do you consider essential and why?:

Some addons seem required now a days, but I would like to once see a raid where everyone knew what was happening and DBM wasn't a necessity. Also, im doing this app on my laptop, so the pic of my UI is not representative of what I use in raids
DBM, Omen, Skada, Mage Nuggets, Decursive for raiding
Auctioneer, Atlast Loot and more for, well, not raiding

Raid Experience:

Was in a different guild during BC(has sense broken up) that couldn't clear through the higher tier of content. All WotLK 5 mans, cleard 10/25 Naxx, skipped Ulduar(spent a semester working on my course work) but have done up through Freya on 10 and 25, 10/25 ToC, 10 ICC has cleared up to Sindragosa, 25 ICC has possibly hit a competency wall, cleared through the lower spire, but we keep having people die on Fester/Rot because they allow a big ooze to form in melee or dont move to attain the spore debuff

So, it might be a week or two before I can raid again. I need to save up some cash for a new Power Supply. and not a cheap one either, my system uses a 1k PS T_T. I will update as I can from my laptop. I am going to try a run tonight on my laptop with the previous guild, but there is a very good chance I will have severe performance issues(I've mainly upgraded my comp and havn't touched this thing sense I bought it 4 years ago).

For you to require a 1k Watt PSU, you'd have to have a set of hardware that borders on the obscene. I HIGHLY doubt you NEED 1k Watts and could instead use a high quality 550-650 instead.

As you know g some gpu's do require speicific amperage and some rails can only be found on high end psu's for example 2 rails at (whatever cards require these days like 42A) some gpus require dedicated lines.

Since I haven't seen any other mages post on here I guess I'll ask a few questions.

1) For your Arcane spec you only have 1 point in Arcane Subtlety, why is that do you not have any problems with threat?

2) You speced into 2/3 Student of the Mind instead of 2/2 in Magic Attunement, that's more of a personal preference as the extra range is not "required" but the extra bonus on amp magic for fights like Dreamwalker is also very nice so just curious as to why you went with that.

3) In the frost tree of your Arcane spec you put 2 points into imp Frostbolt, why is that? Frostbite is a situational thing but that freeze can save you.

4) I assume the gear currently on the armory is your fire set as it has alot of crit so next time you log out can you log out in Arcane gear/Acane spec please.

5) For Fire what is your standard rotation?

6) For Arcane what is your standard rotation?
