Forming a raiding group for Mists

Hey All,

I am forming a raiding group within Downfall to start up after the MoP expansion. This will be a 10 person raid that will run 2-3 nights a week depending on content. I am aiming for this to be a semi-hardcore raid. I want to keep Downfall near the top of the guild progression list for our server.

Right now I need every role filled, post if you are interested with what class and spec you think you would like to play and what nights you are available. I expect to start raiding a couple weeks after the expansion launch. If you haven't already, check out Wowhead for how your class roles have changed.

I will attempt to form a raid that includes all the major raid buffs. Read up this Ghostcrawler article about buffs/debuffs when thinking about a class/spec to play.

Here is what we have so far:

Newtarin - Pally - dps/heals/tank

Logdude - Priest - dps or whatever

Closer - Druid or whatever - Heals

Sassybrat - Shaman - Heals

Katzeus - Rogue - dps

Trazi - Mage - dps

Grasen - Hunter - dps

Drenalin - Hunter - dps

Chaca - Druid - dps

Raid night: I'm thinking either Monday or Friday or both starting as early as possible, 5pm/6pm/6:30pm server time and going for 3 hours or maybe 4 hours per night. Post up if you can't make this or have any other thoughts on times.

As much as I would love to raid full time again I'm not able to at the moment. With that said I'd really like to be able to fill in for you guys when needed. Plenty of people in this raid know how to contact me ASAP to check my availablity.

I have switched to playing a Monk during MoP. I plan on focusing on the windwalker (DPS) and mistweaver (Healing) specs. Though you never know I may tank too. I'm currently level 80 and trying my best to finish out the leveling grind.

Hopefully I'll be able to help you guys when you're down a raider here and there.

During the winter I will be working a lot during raid times. I wont work every night so would be happy to fill in when needed. I'm in the process of slowly leveling all my 85's to 90 and willl have tuffie Pally tank/ret ready first.

6:00 pst sounds perfect for me, Mondays as well... Fridays I may have an issue there if I wanna keep girlfriend aggro low. My best raiding days are from Sunday to Thursday, any of those days from 6:00 pst are perfect for me.

I am still really short on people who want to tank. Assuming I tank, we are short a third healer. I was planning on running the raid with more than 10 people, so there probably is a dps spot available if you want Chaca.

I wouldnt come back just for this raid, I cant say for sure there will be a raid. It is still very early in the expansion. I will do my best to get it going tho.

I only play MMO's for Raiding purposes, I've always had. I know this isn't guaranteed to happen, but if you say I have a spot on your raid, if it takes place, that's all I need to hear to get the motivation to come back.
