This is Delirium.

Closer — Wed, 04/09/2008 - 04:26

Lately I've been lacking in new music. I'd like to remedy this and I'd appreciate anyones input!

I'm looking for any music that means a lot to people. If you know of a band or artist that you think highly of please post here.

I'll post a couple of videos from a band I can't get enough of, so if you have a moment check out one (or both) of these videos.

Pettingzoo — Thu, 04/10/2008 - 16:40

wtf, i want radiohead tickets =(

So now that I'm sitting at home with my itunes righ tin front of me, allow me to make a few more suggestions

Ben Folds (with or without the five)
Chronic future (defunct i believe, but good stuff)
Foo Fighters
Incubus
Jamie Cullum
Mae (they are kinda meh really. i digged them for a long time, then the "new" feeling wore off)
Muse
Mute math
Paramore
Radiohead
Taking Back Sunday
Tool (of course. "the pot" from 10,000 days is AWESOME)

Anything past those bands in my collection is stuff that no one else seems to like lol

Yeah, Underoath has some

Captnopants — Thu, 04/10/2008 - 16:10

Yeah, Underoath has some really nice stuff. They have old albums where they're super hardcore, which I don't like, but they ditched the vocalist and picked up a newer, better one. I'm pretty sure they switched vocalists between You're Only Chasing Safety and Define The Great Line too. You're Only Chasing Safety is an amazing album, but I've fallen for the new album, and there's no going back.

OH. Forgot Saosin too! Download their self-titled. Aidin, I could probably email it to you if I could get that. I have nowhere to host the download.

In Regards To Myself - Underoath.

Seven Years - Saosin.

Sic Transit Gloria...Glory Fades - Brand New.

A Decade Under The Influence - Taking Back Sunday.

!!!WARNING!!! THE ABOVE SONG IS MODERATELY EMO. WATCH AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Missed The Boat - Modest Mouse.

Alive With The Glory of Love - Say Anything.

Couldn't figure out how to embed, so I just made links.

Went on a hunt for some

Aidin — Thu, 04/10/2008 - 14:56

Captnopants — Thu, 04/10/2008 - 13:30

Yeah, definitely check out Thrice: Identity Crisis, Artist and the Ambulance, and The Illusion of Safety.

Brand New: Your Favorite Weapon, and Deja Entendu.

Sugarcult: Start Static.

Taking Back Sunday: Where You Want To Be, Tell All Your Friends.

Underoath: Define The Great Line.

Modest Mouse: Good News For People Who Love Bad News, We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank.

The Starting Line: Say It Like You Mean It.

Say Anything: In Defense of the Genre, ...Is A Real Boy / ...Was A Real Boy.

LOL!!! Go play another 58

Atar — Thu, 04/10/2008 - 07:18

LOL!!! Go play another 58 song set on Rock Band.

Del singing and playing the guitar at the same time = bad.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Haha, all of these should

Closer — Thu, 04/10/2008 - 07:09

Haha, all of these should keep me pretty busy! A bunch of stuff suggested here I've never heard of.

Time to put more than Tom Waits, The Muse and Sigur Ros in my MP3 Player.

btw Atar, WOOOOOOOOOOOOO

It's hard for me to say Del.

Atar — Thu, 04/10/2008 - 06:34

It's hard for me to say Del. I know what you listen to, and we listen to a lot of the same stuff. (except Kings of Leon.....Blah)

Like Aidin said, check out Thrice. Their first 3 albums were kinda hardcore and screamo, but the last two albums were a lot more chilled back. I think the names are "Fire", and "Water". Check em out.

The Muse is great.

Try out some Silverchair. They have a ton of options and sounds.

Old school Pearl Jam rocks.

Also, "Minus the Bear". They have some good songs.

Onesidezero has some good songs.

For the metal head in you listen to Mastodon.

If you feel like chilling out check out David Gilmour's solo stuff.

And you know my favorites like Tool, Incubus(good picks Petting), A Perfect Circle, The Mars Volta, Deftones, Radiohead, Dredg, Alice in Chains, and so on.

It makes no difference if

Closer — Wed, 04/09/2008 - 22:54

It makes no difference if they're like the ones posted already, it's all about the individual. Nothing posted should be considered dumb, unless you're Ataraxia. Then you're always dumb.

P.S. This is Delirium again.
