ventrilo issue

I have recently run into a problem with my vent, after I click on the icon on the desktop vent pops up but instead in the space where it says server available" or somthing like that it just constantly says contacting server. I'm prety sure I have typed the info coorrectly but no matter what I do it just won't connect. Anyone have any ideas? I have attached an image of what it looks like.

starstalker — Sat, 04/26/2008 - 06:13If you are 100% sure you typed the information in correctly, then its most likely a firewall blocking you. You might want to open up
Ventrilo has a FAQ located http://www.ventrilo.com/faq.php#conn2 but seeing as how you cant even access the vent server, there's not much it can do. You're being blocked by something on your end. Either wrong information entered, or a firewall.
