Garreth's Healing Seminar - Learn To Maximize and Play Beyond Your Gear

We've got a lot of new healers that need a LOT of work. We also have some old veterans that could use some new insight into how play their class as efficiently as possible.
I'm setting up this one hour group session for all of us to get on vent and go somewhere to work on honing our skills. We'll be going over things like:
- Configuration of Grid and Grid-addons
- Discussion of Grid indicators
- Using indicators as a realtime guide on where to put heals
- Downranking
- Macros: mouse-over cleanse, auto-trinket-pop, self-casts
- The focus frame
- How To Use Other People's HoTs To Make YOU Better
- Splitting up the raid into healing zones
- Gear choices: Longterm or Power-healing?
- Decisions: How To Decide Who To Heal?
- Why We Don't Always Care About "Healing Meters"
This will be a quick, fun way to get a lot of healing mains some information they might not have been exposed to yet. All healing alts are welcome and highly encouraged to join.
I have this scheduled tentatively for Thursday evening. The time may change, so keep a heads up. Please SIGN UP so we have some numbers on who's coming.

The only people who I recall being at the first one were Warion and myself, the rest of you are newer then the last session.
Please go in with an open mind..and not "I heal fine, boo on all this". Garreth has loads to teach, and we all can improve somewhere.

Might teach a thing or two about the other side of your class ;) Would also like tanks and dps to show up so you guys can get a feel for what's going through our heads and why we let you die in that fire you were supposed to move out of.

Honestly, I really don't care if the tanks of dps show up, but I really want to see our healers. At the last little healing seminar we put on, I actually learned quite a bit from the other people. It's very cool to see how other people heal and offer them advice/learn from them. For instance: The resto druid that said "I don't use tree form". We promptly figured out why, fixed him up, showed him some mechanics he wasn't aware of and watched him rip shit up.
