I would have loved for this to have not happened - but honestly it was a necessity. However, Earth & Moon / Moonfury were reduced to only 3 ranks, so our tree isn't as bloated now - that is REALLY nice.

I don't think Disrupta's 3.5k dps on any of our single target bosses in Sunwell counts as "nerfed" quite yet.

However, I already chastised a few people for raining on the parades of those that needed to vent about other nerfs so I'll go quietly! This is a good place to discuss this though!

I know I've broken 3k, but never 3.5k, but I'm not complaining lol.

Vossa, consider this before you get mad at the nerf. We got a slight nerf, but it was probably necessary. Our AOE dps is very strong atm, but to be able to go non stop while soloing as long as you pull 4-5 mobs at a time.... that's the reasoning behind the nerf I believe. At this moment for me, considering how our tanks like to move and how our fire mages like to knock the aoe out of the nice little pile, it's a nerf to our mana. But at 80 it'll even out, we'll have our regen talents that will allow us to regen constantly, a nice chunk of the hurricanes cost.

What mages are still using blastwave in raid past the first "OOH! Look what I can do!" raid night? Blastwave is a hugely wasted talent for fire atm, as there are so many other single target talents available. That and I'm convinced it lowers overall raid AOE dps by knocking things out of range of other player's spells/abilities.

Moonkins are pretty redicuously OP in PVE atm. I'd be surprised that this was the only nerf moonkins got, except that it's already been made clear that the Moonkin is Blizzard's new favorite toy for Wrath. You should be happy you didn't get hit with the same stick the Paladins got nailed by.
